JKCET Result 2020 - Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) will declare JKCET 2020 result in online mode tentatively in third week of May. The result of JKCET 2020 will carry marks secured by candidates in individual subject along with the total marks and rank. All the candidates who will appear for JKCET entrance examination will be able to access their result by visiting the official website. The JKCET result 2020 will be released in the PDF format. Based on the JKCET 2020 result, authorities will prepare a merit list on the basis of which candidates will be allotted seat in the desired degree programme. All the candidates who will qualify the entrance test will be called to participate in online counselling session of JKCET 2020. Based on their merit, choices filled and availability of seats, candidates will be allotted seats in the participating institutes. The merit list of JKCET 2020 will be prepared on the basis of inter-se merit of the candidates in the entrance examination. JKCET merit list 2020 is category specific. Candidates wishing to take admission through JKCET 2020 will need to secure at least minimum qualifying marks in the entrance examination to get admission in the participating colleges as prescribed for different categories under Jammu & Kashmir Reservation rules. In order to determine the merit list, authorities will use following inter-se merit. This is will be used in case one or more candidates have the same merit. Mentioned below is the parameters on this tie will be broken following inter-se-merit rule:
Candidates who will secure higher marks in Mathematics will be considered.
If tie still prevails, candidates who will secure higher marks in Physics will be considered.
If a tie still remains, candidates who are older in age will be given preference.
Candidates will be able to access the JKCET 2020 result from the office of JKBOPEE at Jammu and Srinagar as well.
In case, a candidates wished to go for re-totalling of their marks secured in JKCET 2020 will be required to pay Rs. 1000 at the POS terminal at JKBOPEE office at either Srinagar or Jammu.
Also,candidates must present their request of rechecking in written at the office within 5 days of the declaration of result.
After the result is announced, merit list of JKCET 2020 will be prepared
Based on the merit, candidates will be able to participate in the JKCET 2020 counselling.
The result of JKCET 2020 will be valid for the admission in the academic session of 2020-2021 only.
JKCET 2020 counselling will be held in offline mode tentatively June. After the result is announced, the exam conducting authority will release a separate notification related to the counselling of JKCET 2020 details and procedure. Candidates who have qualified JKCET 2020 will be eligible to participate in the counselling session. The counselling of JKCET 2020 will be conducted in offline mode where every eligible candidate will have to report to the designated venue as per the schedule. Students will be required to carry documents like educational qualification, rank card, photographs and others for verification.

The candidates those fulfills the requirements of eligibility as prescribed by the BOPEE will be considered for admission.
Candidates must be Indian Citizen.
State Eligibility: Candidate should be the permanent resident of J&K.
Minimum Age Criteria: The minimum age limit should be 17 years as on 31st December 2019.
Maximum Age Criteria: There will be no age bar limit to apply.
Qualifying Exam: Candidates should pass 10+2/12th or its equivalent exam from any recognized board/university.
Minimum Marks: Candidates should have obtained the minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of reserved category) in the qualifying exam.
Subjects: Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as their primary subjects.
Appearing Candidates: Such candidates can also apply for JKCET.
