Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre before the reporting time of the exam.
Candidates must carry blue/black ball point pen to fill the OMR sheet. No other pen will be allowed in the exam.
Items like graph papers, log tables, calculators, cell phones or other electronic gadgets will not allowed inside the exam hall.
OMR sheet should be used only for marking answers and no rough work should be done on it.
No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall until the exam is over, barring exception cases and permission from the Invigilator or the centre-in-charge.
Candidates are advised to have knowledge about the exam pattern of JEXPO 2020 in order to prepare an exam strategy for the preparation of the exam. JEXPO 2020 will be a pen-paper based examination of 2 hours. It will have 100 multiple-choice questions spread over the sections of the exam - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks on each incorrect answer by the candidate.
The syllabus of JEXPO 2020 will be based on the syllabus of Mathematics and Physical Science up to class X under West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE). Candidates must keep this in mind while preparing for the exam.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have passed Class 10 from any recognized board with 35% aggregate in English, Science/Physical Science and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
in most of the education board in india, in class 10th there is no group or division like science stream, in 10th class you need to study life science, physical science , mathematics and some of arts subject with language stream, the basic eligibility criteria for jexpo is you need to have 35% marks in 10th standard from a recognized education board with maths, sciences and english as a subject. the age criteria is candidate should not born after 1 july, 2005. there is no upper age limit.
Yes, You can apply for polytechnic after the class 10. JEXPO is state level entrance exam conduct for the admission in engineering,technology and architecture courses in self finance polytechnic colleges across the West Bengal. You can register for jexpo through online as well as offline mode. Exam will be conduct through offline mode.
