Jain Entrance Test (JET) 2018 – The Jain University has released the counselling list for all the qualified candidates. The JET 2018 counselling will be conducted on April 25 and 26 in offline mode. JET 2018 was concluded on April 22 in both online and offline mode. The result of JET 2018 was released on April 23. All the registered candidates were able to download their JET 2018 admit card by entering their application number and date of birth. However, the application form of JET 2018 was available till April 20 in online mode. JET Counselling 2018
Jain University has released the JET 2018 counselling list for all the qualified candidates. The University will conduct the counselling of JET 2018 from April 25-26, 2018 on the basis of the candidates' performance in the entrance exam. The qualified candidates of the entrance exam will be invited via email from the university to appear in the JET 2018 counselling. Candidates will be given provisional admission based on their marks obtained in the exam during the selection process of JET counselling 2018. Such candidates will be required to produce a proof of having passed the qualifying examination.

Candidates will have to produce the following original documents at the time of JET 2018 counselling.
- Class X & Class XII/ PUC/ SYJC/ Equivalent exam (Original +2 copies)
- 10 Passport Size Photographs

- Transfer Certificate form school/college last attended (Original +2 copies)

JET Seat Allotment 2018
Candidates will be allotted seat in JET 2018 on the basis of their ranks obtained in the entrance exam and choices filled during the counseling procedure. JET 2018 seat allotment procedure will be conducted by the university in offline mode. Candidates will have to be physically present to attend the seat allotment of JET 2018, otherwise, their seat will be allotted to the next eligible candidate. The allotment of seat in JET 2018 will ensure the admission of the candidate in the university.

JET Admit Card 2018
The admit card of JET 2018 was released by Jain University on April 16 in online mode. It is to be noted that JET 2018 admit card was accessible to only those candidates whose applications were accepted successfully. JET admit card 2018 included candidates' details like name, photograph, signature, exam name, date, and timings along with name and complete address of their allotted exam center. JET Sample Papers 2018
Jain University does not release the sample papers of JET 2018. However, if they do, JET 2018 sample papers will be updated here for candidates to practice better for the exam. The sample papers of JET 2018 will help the candidates appearing in the entrance exam have an idea of the question paper. Candidates will be able to work on their speed, efficiency and time management skills by practicing JET 2018 sample papers and hence prepare better. Step 1 – Registration
Candidates will have to register themselves first to be able to fill the application form of JET 2018. The following steps have to be followed by candidates for registration.

Candidates will have to create a new account by providing their username, email address, password, confirm the password provided, valid contact number and visible code.
After entering all the details, candidates will receive a confirmation on the email address provided by them.
Step 2 – Login
Candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below to login:

Candidates will have to select the programme type as undergraduate programme, name of the programme as B.Tech or Bachelor of Technology and name of the course they want to enroll into.
After this, candidates need to submit the application form by clicking on “Create Application”.
The application fee for the course selected will be reflected and candidates will have to click on “Apply Now” to pay the fees.

In case, candidates have taken any competitive test they have to mention the scores of the test along with its name and percentage.

Step 4 - Uploading of documents
Candidates need to upload the following things before submitting the application form of JET 2018:
- Passport size photograph (Should be in .jpg or .png format and maximum file size allotted is 50 KB. While, size is 3.5 x 4.5cm)
- Scanned image of the signature
Scanned copy of class X marksheet (Mark sheet should be in .jpg, .png or .PDF format and maximum file size allotted is 100 KB)

Scanned copy of class XII marksheet (For passout students)

Step 5 – Preview and Editing
After uploading the documents, candidates can choose to see the preview of their application form.
Candidates can edit any of the information they have filled as incorrect or incomplete in the application by clicking on the EDIT button.

JET Application Fee
The application fee of JET 2018 will be prescribed by the university for all the candidates. It is to be noted that application form has to be submitted along with application fee otherwise it will be considered as incomplete and hence will be rejected. JET Eligibility Criteria 2018
The eligibility criteria of JET 2018 include certain parameters on the basis of which candidates will be considered for the entrance exam, otherwise not. Candidates can check JET eligibility criteria 2018 from the following points:
Candidates need to have passed in PUC or ISC/ CBSE or equivalent board to be eligible for JET 2018. They must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one i.e Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject and have secured minimum 60 % and above in PUC/ SYJC/ 12th or equivalent exam to be eligible for B.Tech programmes in JET 2018 in the subjects taken together.
Candidates belonging to SC or ST categories need to have secured minimum 55% and above in PUC/ SYJC/ 12th or equivalent exam are eligible to apply for B.Tech programmes.
Candidates awaiting examination results of 12th or equivalent exams can also apply for the entrance exam.
