JEECUP 2020 - The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh will be conducting JEECUP 2020 in offline mode on April 26. JEECUP 2020 is conducted for admission into diploma courses in engineering, technology, and management. The application form of JEECUP 2020 will be released by the authorities tentatively in the third week of December 2019. Candidates will be allowed to submit only one application form in each shift of examination. Before applying for JEECUP 2020, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of the exam as failing to fulfil any criteria will result in the cancellation of the application. In order to be eligible for examination, candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria of JEECUP 2020 as prescribed by the examination authorities. Candidates who are planning to appear for JEECUP 2020 are required to meet academic qualifications and age limits.
Age Limit - Any candidate who is more than 14 years old as on July 1st, 2020 is eligible to appear for JEECUP 2020.

Candidate should have passed class 10th with at least 35% marks.

Candidate should have passed class 10th and class 12th with agriculture as one of its compulsory subjects.

Note - Candidates who will be appearing for their 10th standard exam will also be eligible to apply for JEECUP 2020.
The online application form for JEECUP 2020 will be available tentatively from the third week of December 2019. The final date for submission of the form will be tentatively in the last week of March 2020. Candidates are required to submit all of the required details while filling up the form. Candidates are recommended to take a print out of the filled JEECUP application form 2020 and keep it for future reference. The steps to fill the JEECUP 2020 application form are given below:
Step 1 - Registration - Candidates will have to first register to be able to fill JEECUP application form 2020. In order to register, a candidate will have to fill some details such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Contact Details, identification document/ number and Password, Security Answer etc.
Step 2 - Filling of application form - After registration, candidates will have to fill the application form for JEECUP 2020 by providing information related to domicile, category, subcategory, group, exam centre choices, and minimum qualifying examination details etc.
Step 3 - Uploading documents - After filling all the required information correctly, the next step is uploading scanned photograph and signature. The photograph should not be unclear/ paranoid/ older than three months.

Step 4 - Fee Payment - Before proceeding towards this step, candidates should make sure that all the details mentioned in the application form is correct and doesn’t require any changes. Payment can be made through net banking/Debit card/Credit card/e-challan. If a candidate chooses to pay through e-challan then it can be done at any branch of State Bank of India and a challan can be generated during the filling of the application form.

Step 5 - Submission & Print Out - The final step for filling JEECUP 2020 application form is submitting the form and printing out the form for future reference.
JEECUP 2020 will be conducted in all districts of Uttar Pradesh. However, there may be some cases in which a different district in the nearby area is allotted to candidates. Candidates can choose their choice of district while filling out the application form. Allotment of centres will be done as soon as per the preference and availability of centre. Once the examination centre is allotted, the request for change will not be entertained.

The examination authorities will release the admit card of JEECUP 2020 tentatively in the second week of April. The admit card will be released online and the registered candidates will be able to download it. After the declaration of result, if candidates feel any error in the score, they can ask for rechecking by paying Rs. 100 for each question tentatively in the third week of June. The result of JEECUP 2020 will be declared tentatively in the third week of June. Candidates will be able to check their results in online mode. The result/scorecard will consist of both the actual marks obtained by a candidate in JEECUP 2020 and the status of those candidates who will qualify to appear in the counselling. To check the results, candidates will have to log in to the result portal by providing their JEECUP 2020 roll number and date of birth. Candidates are recommended to take a print out of the result for future reference.

After the declaration of result, the examination authorities will release the JEECUP 2020 cutoff for rounds of seat allotment. It will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks. In order to know the cutoff, candidates will have to select a programme, institute, and counselling round. The cutoff will be prepared on the basis of a number of seats available and a total number of applications received.
The admission authorities will announce the counselling and seat allocation process through online mode. They will conduct counselling and three rounds of seat allotment. The spot round counselling of JEECUP 2020 will be conducted tentatively in the last week of July and the registration for JEECUP 2020 will be started tentatively in the first week of August. Through the seat allocation process, the candidates will be offered admission based on their choices, reservation and State Open Rank of JEECUP 2020.

To get an admission in government college in Lucknow you have to get a rank below 100. Then only you will get an admission. Before that you have to know if the college considers jee for admission. If yes then you can apply. If you have any reservation then that would be very helpful for you.
Rank cutoff is low i.e. below 100 for CSE and ECE and information technology branches. for rest you can easily get an admission if you get a rank below 1k-2k.
