JEECUP Counselling 2020 - JEEC, Uttar Pradesh will commence the registration process for JEECUP 2020 counselling tentatively from the last week of June. The counselling of JEECUP 2020 will be conducted to provide admissions into B.Tech programmes offered by the participating institutes. The procedure of JEECUP counselling 2020 will include various steps such as registration and payment of counselling fee, filling and locking of choices, allotment of seats, document verification, etc.. The authorities will conduct three rounds of JEECUP 2020 counselling & seat allotment. In order to participate in the counselling of JEECUP 2020, candidates will have to qualify the examination. After allotment of seats, candidates will have to select one option from freeze and float for confirmation of JEECUP admissions. The procedure of JEECUP counselling 2020 will be conducted online and it will include various steps such as registration, choice filling, and payment of the counselling seat. JEECUP 2020 will be conducted on April 26. Candidates who successfully qualify the exam will be called for JEECUP 2020 counselling process. Detailed step by step counselling process is given below.
Step 1 - Registration for counselling - Candidates will have to firstly get their registration done to participate in JEECUP 2020 counselling process. To complete the registration process, candidates will have to fill in certain details such as JEECUP 2020 roll number, form number, date of birth, and name. After successful registration, candidates will be redirected to a new page where they will have to enter some details along with the selection of a new password. It should be noted that candidates will be eligible to participate in the counselling process only if they will qualify JEECUP 2020. Candidates can know their eligibility by checking JEECUP result 2020.
Step 2 - Payment of counselling fee - After registration and creation of password, candidates will have to log in to their account and will have to proceed towards the payment of JEECUP 2020 counselling fee after accepting the terms and conditions.

Step 3 - Choice filling & locking - After payment, the next step will be choice filling and locking which means that the candidates will have to enter their choices for course and institute. Candidates should always enter the choice of their priority and should select as many choices as possible to increase the chances of admission. Later, candidates will have to lock their choices. If they fail to lock choices, the last entered choices will automatically be locked. Candidates are recommended to take a print out of their choices for future use.
Step 4 - Allotment of seats - After each round of counselling, the admission authorities will allot seats to candidates on the basis of rank they will hold and the choices they will make while registering for JEECUP counselling 2020. Once the seat allotment process will be done by the authorities, the selected candidates will have to pay seat acceptance fee of Rs. 3000 which will be adjusted in the admission fee at the time of admission in the allotted institute.
Step 5 - Document verification - After payment of seat acceptance fee, candidates will have to report at the allotted institute within a specified time for document verification process. Failing to report for verification, a candidate will be disqualified from the counselling process.

Candidates will have to carry original documents, photocopies (2 sets), and two photographs at the time of reporting at the allotted institutes.
Step 6 - Expression of willingness - After the admission authorities will allot the seats, candidates will have to pay seat acceptance fee and will also have to select one option from the two given below.
Freeze - This means that the candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and would like to lock it. Once the “Freeze” option is selected, candidates will not be allowed to participate in the further rounds of the counselling process.
Float - This means that the candidate will be allowed to retain the allotted seat while being open for a higher preferred seat. In subsequent rounds, if a candidate will be offered with higher preferred seat then the previously allotted seat will be cancelled.
Step 7 - Admission to the allotted institute - All the candidates who will opt for freeze option will have to log in to their account and will have to pay the admission fee to complete the admission process. If candidates who will opt for float option will have to wait until the final seat allotment is done. The checklist of documents that will be required is given below.

To get an admission in government college in Lucknow you have to get a rank below 100. Then only you will get an admission. Before that you have to know if the college considers jee for admission. If yes then you can apply. If you have any reservation then that would be very helpful for you.
Rank cutoff is low i.e. below 100 for CSE and ECE and information technology branches. for rest you can easily get an admission if you get a rank below 1k-2k.
