How to create JEE Main 2018 Login Account
To createlogin account for JEE Main 2018, the candidate will have to get registered for the entrance exam. The JEE Main 2018 registration includes the followings steps:
Click on “Apply for JEE Main 2018” and go through the instructions that will appear on screen.
Click on “Proceed to Apply Online”
A registration form will open where the candidate will have to enter following details:
Date of Birth
Click on the “Submit” button
Upon successful registration, the candidate can proceed to fill the JEE Main application form 2018.
Trouble with JEE Main log-in 2018
The candidate may not be able to login to JEE Main portals if he/she loses either loses the password or application number. In that case, the candidate must follow the steps mentioned below to retrieve or regenerate the JEE Main login credentials:
Reset lost password
To reset password, the candidate must:
Go to the the JEE Main 2018 login page
Select the option to Reset password
Answer the security question opted at the time of filling the application form
A verification code will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidate
A verification link will also be sent to the email ID of the candidate. Follow the link to reset the password.
Retrieve lost application number
Click on “I can’t access my account?”
Select “I forgot my JEE Main Application Number”
Enter the following details (should be same as entered at the time of registration):
Name of candidate
Name of Parents
Date of Birth
State of Eligibility
Case Sensitive Security Pin
The JEE Main 2018 application number will be recovered.
Login to check the status of the JEE Main application form
The JEE Main login account created by the candidate can be used for checking the status of the application form and fee payment. For the purpose, the candidate will have to login to the application portal using the following JEE Main login credentials:
Password chosen by the candidate
Application number generated during application filling process
After login to JEE Main application portal, the candidate will be able to check the status of the application. If the application process is successful, acknowledgement slip will be generated. If not, the candidate will have to re-do some of the steps to successfully fill the JEE Main 2018 application form.
Login to JEE Main Account to make corrections to the application form
The exam conducting authority of the entrance exam may like previous years give a window to candidates who have incorrectly filled the JEE Main application form 2018 to make the necessary corrections. The correction facility is expected to open in January. To make corrections to the JEE Main 2018 application form, the candidate will have to login to their respective accounts using their JEE Main application number and date of birth.

Mode of Exam – The candidate can change mode of exam from pen and paper to computer based, but not vice versa.

To make corrections, the candidate will have to opt for application correction option after logging in to JEE Main application portal and simply replace the incorrect details with correct details, or remove wrong image with the correct one.
Candidates who have paid application fee can make corrections: Only those candidates who have paid the application fee of JEE Main 2018 and completed all the steps of the form will be able to make corrections.
JEE Main 2018 Login to download Admit Card
Candidates who have created their JEE Main login accounts will be able to download the admit card for the entrance exam tentatively in the 2nd week of March. The candidate will be able to download the JEE Main admit card 2018 by entering their:
JEE Main Registration or Application number and
Date of Birth
The JEE Main admit card will contain details regarding the exam centre, date of exam and roll number of the candidate.
JEE Main Login 2018 to check Answer Key
The official answer key of JEE Main 2018 will be released by CBSE after conclusion of the exam tentatively in the 3rd week of April. The JEE Main answer key 2018 will be released for both Paper I and Paper II. The candidate may use the following JEE Main 2018 login details to check answer keys:
Date of Birth
Security Pin which may be displayed on the screen.
Upon successful login to JEE Main account, the candidate will be able to match the answers given in the answer key with his/her answers. In case the candidate finds any answer in the answer key is incorrect, the candidate may challenge the JEE Main answer key by filling the online complaint form.
JEE Main 2018 Login to check Result
CBSE will declare the result of JEE Main 2018 tentatively in the last week of April 2018. To check their results, candidates will have to login to JEE Main result portal using the following details:
JEE Main Roll No
Date of Birth
The JEE Main result 2018 will contain details like marks obtained by the candidate in each subject and total marks. Candidates who qualify in JEE Main 2018 will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2018.
