hi, will it be asked during placement if I am dropping two years for jee mains? i passed in 2018 12th, i am studying in a college 1st year in 2019, and if i give jee mains 2020, will it be considered two years drop? or one year drop? since im doing college as well as preparing.

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 21st Oct, 2019
Hello.
as you said that you did a partial drop and you had completed your class 12th in 2018 so if you will give JEE mains in 2020 then definitely there will be your two year drop considered, for that you will have to submit the reason for this drop when you will take admission in any college after selection, and if you give JEE mains in 2019 then your one year drop will be considered.
Best of luck.

I have got 85 percentile in jee mains.... Am I eligible to take admission in Nfsc?

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 21st Oct, 2019
Hello.
As far as general category is considered so you are on the line of getting admission in NFSC but still it may be little bit difficult to have admission because due to 10% reservation of EWS category there are only 40% seat available for open categories.
And percentile does not cognate with the proper rank, rank vary with different percentile so chances may also vary.
Best of luck.

Also the cutoff changes every year due to the paper difficulty level, the no. of students appearing for the exam and the counselling, the no of seats available etc. Kindly mention your category so that I can provide you with the details. Or you can also visit the page mentioned below to know the cutoffs of different category during the past years.
