JEE Main April 2019 – National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official answer key JEE Main 2019 on April 14 for both Paper 1 and 2. NTA has also released the student response sheet and question paper of all the shifts held between April 7 to 12. Candidate were allowed to challenge the answer key last by April 16 up to 11:50 PM. The JEE Main 2019 for April session was conducted on April 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12. JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 was conducted on April 7 while Paper 1 was conducted on April 8, 9, 10 and 12. Exam in all days was held in morning and evening shift at 370 test centres in India and abroad. NTA released the JEE Main 2019 admit card for April session on March 21 only for the registered candidates. All the papers of JEE Main 2019 was conducted in online mode except for the drawing part of JEE Main Paper 2 which was held in paper and pencil. Only the registered candidates are able to participate in the examination process. JEE Main April 2019 result will be announced on April 30 for Paper 1 while for Paper 2, it will be declared on May 15. The combined rank list of both the sessions of JEE Main will be released after the April examination is conducted. JEE Main April 2019 - Result

The result of JEE Main April 2019 will be released on April 30 for Paper 1 while for Paper 2, result will be declared on May 15. Candidates will be able to check their result in online mode. Steps to check JEE Main April Result 2019 

  • Candidates will have to log in using their JEE Main roll number and date of birth

  • Click on Submit

  • The JEE Main April 2019 result will be displayed on the screen

JEE Main Rank List 2019

A common rank list for both the January and April session of JEE Main 2019 will be released by the admission authorities. The scores secured in the examination will be taken into consideration while preparing the rank list of JEE Main April 2019. If the candidate has appeared for both the sessions, then the best of the two will be considered for the JEE Main 2019 rank list.

JEE Main April 2019 - Admit Card  

JEE Main April 2019 admit card was available for download from March 21 for students who appeared in the exam. Details regarding the examination venue, timings, roll number and more will be available in the admit card. The candidates were required to download and produce the admit card at the examination centre. A photo identity proof also has to be produced with the admit card. Without JEE Main 2019 admit card, the candidates will not be allowed to participate in the examination.

  • Submit JEE Main 2019 application number, password and security pin

  • Click on Submit

  • The admit card will be displayed on the screen which has to be downloaded

JEE Main April 2019 - Answer Key

NTA has released the official answer key of JEE Main 2019 on April 14. Student response sheets and question papers has also been released by NTA. Leading coaching centres like Resonance, FIITJEE, Aakash, Sri Chaitanya has also released the answer key of JEE Main 2019. The official answer key of JEE Main April 2019 were allowed for challenge challenged last by April 16 up to 11:50 PM. Candidates can calculate their probable scores using the answer key. While calculating the scores, the candidates have to use the correct marking scheme. Objections to the answer key of JEE Main 2019 will also be accepted by the authorities. 

JEE Main April 2019 - Cutoff

Candidates will be able to access two types of JEE Main 2019 cutoff – the qualifying cutoff and the admission cutoff. The qualifying cutoff will be displayed on the result of JEE Main April 2019 which will be the minimum marks which the candidates need to secure to be eligible for JEE Advanced. During the counselling process (which will be held by JoSAA), the admission cutoff will be announced. Admission cutoff will consist of the opening and closing ranks for admissions into the various participating institutes. JEE Main Counselling 2019

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will be conducting the JEE Main 2019 counselling in online mode. The counselling will be a centralized process for admissions into the NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. Eligible candidates will have to register and select their choice of colleges and courses. Allotment will be done according to their rank, choice of courses and institutes and availability of seats. Other than JoSAA, various states and private institutes also use JEE Main scores for their admission process.

JEE Main April 2019 - Eligibility Criteria

All of the candidates applying for the examination are expected to meet the JEE Main 2019 eligibility criteria. Since the exam is of national level, the eligibility criteria may seem to be more detailed so the candidates were advised to read it before filling out the application form. Ineligible candidates will be disqualified by the authorities.

  • Age Limit – Age limit has been removed. Candidates who have passed their class 12 in 2017, 2018 or are appearing in 2019 can appear for JEE Main 2019 irrespective of their birth date.

  • Academic Qualification – The candidates should have qualified 12th standard (or equivalent) examination in 2017 or 2018 or should be appearing in 2019.

  • Number of Subjects in Qualifying Exam – The candidates should have studied the following subjects in the qualifying examination – Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subject/Any Other Subject. For those appearing in paper 2 of JEE Main 2019, they need to have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects for admission purpose.

  • For IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs – For appearing in JEE Main, there is no prescribed pass percentage. However, if the candidates wish for admissions into NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, then he/she will have to score minimum 75% marks (65% for SC/ST category candidates) or should be in the top 20 percentile of their respective boards.

JEE Main April 2019 - Application Form

JEE Main April 2019 - Syllabus

NTA has released the syllabus of JEE Main April 2019. Candidates will be able to check which topics and chapters have to be studied for the examination. The syllabus will consist of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for Paper I and Mathematics, aptitude test and drawing for Paper II. By referring to the JEE Main 2019 syllabus before the start of preparation, the candidates can schedule their study timings accordingly.

NTA will be releasing the mock test of JEE Main April 2019. The mock test will consist of the exact pattern as the examination. Through the mock test, the candidates will be able to prepare for the examination by analyzing their pattern of the test. Using the mock test of JEE Main 2019, the candidates will be able to practically apply whatever they have studied and also strengthen their time management.
