Parth Jindal: Yes. January exam gave us a good exposure before the April one.

Q: When did you start your JEE Main preparation? Tell us something about your preparation strategy and daily routine for JEE Main?

Parth Jindal: I started preparing for JEE after Class IX. Since, I started a bit early so the main focus was to develop the concepts. My study schedule comprised NCERT books, practicing of previous years question papers and solving of FIITJEE’s mock tests.

Q: Did you face any difficulties since the examination was conducted completely in computer-based mode?

Parth Jindal: No, we solved many computer based mock tests given by FIITJEE. These tests were All India tests in actual exam like environment. So we were well prepared. Apart from this we got online tests to practice at home.

Q: Was there a difference in the preparation strategy in the last months of JEE Main considering that the board exams are also coming up? How did you manage preparation for both?

Parth Jindal: Not really. Since the syllabus of JEE Main & Board is identical. Sticking to the study schedule and to be specific as much as possible; giving emphasis on important topics.

Q: Did you take coaching for JEE Main and if yes from where? What are the benefits of coaching according to you?

Parth Jindal: I joined FIITJEE Punjabi Bagh Centre immediately after my Class IX in to a 3 year classroom program. Getting conceptual clarity is the key. Expert teachers help immensely. Moreover regular tests and feedback helps to improve.

Q: Mock tests and sample papers – how extensively did you practise with the help of these? Do you think practising from the previous year papers help and how?

Parth Jindal: I did it regularly. Practicing tests helps to develop the flow with which we solve a problem. It also improves efficiency and helps to detect mistakes.

Q: Did you face any problem during the JEE Main examination?  Which subject was the easiest and which was the toughest in JEE Main? What do you think is a tough thing to manage during the JEE Main exam?

Parth Jindal: No. I think one has to maintain composure & not to get too excited or depressed during the exam.

Q: What do you think are the key factors behind your stupendous success in JEE Main?

Parth Jindal: Hard work & help from FIITJEE faculty members

Q: How did you de-stress yourself during the preparation? What are your hobbies? How often could you pursue them?

Parth Jindal: Yoga everyday helped me to stay fit and relaxed.

Q: Who is your ideal or biggest inspiration in life and why?

Parth Jindal: Stephen Hawking

Q: You know you are an inspiration to thousands of students across the country. Do you have any message for future aspirants on tackling the JEE Main exam?

How much minimum marks I will have to score in jee main 2020 (obc candidate) (other state) to get admission in NIT srinagar Or any Nit college?

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 22nd Nov, 2019
Hello.
As you know that there is a percentile criteria in JEE mains conducted by national test agency so for having NIT admission you should be in the safer side because there is a 0.0001 factor variation in percentile, so always you should try to have more than or equal to 95 percentile which can make your chances to have admission in NIT but I cannot surely say in which round you will have admission and you also know that the percentile depends upon the number of candidates who got less and equal mark than you so it also variate the rank every year so I am providing you a link below where you can see previous year cut off list of JEE mains which can give you a probable idea of having admission in NIT.

how much minimum marks to score in JEE examination to get in sastra University

apuroop sri durgesh 22nd Nov, 2019

Hi Varun!

Actually there is no such criteria as Sastra university prefers 75% intermediate score and 25% JEE Mains score, for your easy understanding, you should get an all India rank of 4000 in General category. Then you can have good chances to get a seat into Sastra university.

Hope this helps.

All the Best!
