JEE Main 2014 Counselling: An Analysis

JEE Main Counselling for seats allotment were made under different quota. As much as 50% of admissions in NITs were reserved for Home State (HS) Quota which required candidates to possess state domicile. The remaining 50% were allotted to Other State (OS) Quota candidates.

For students of Union Territories (UT) without NITs (Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and Kandvi, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli), the full Home Quota was made available at the nearest NIT. Candidates belonging to these UTs were also eligible for the seats in NITs other than their “Home State” under “Other State” quota.

Below is the Cutoff at NITs after JEE Main 2014 Counselling Round 4. Aspirants can check below NIT Cutoff 2014 for different categories-

Hey,
It is very difficult to predict exact cut off of jee mains.
But according to previous year cut off you are not eligible for jee advance.
You can qualify for jee advanced you must be work hard and revise scoring topics for jee mains.

why their is no rank option while i was giving the test.... and is their any national level contest being held to test our rank and performance till now... JEE aspirant

Yash Dev Student Expert 4th Apr, 2020
Hello student I request you to please help me with the test which you've given, Jee main conduct 2 times a year and in first January examination you won't get a rank just because then final and last examination is yet to be held. And on the basis of both the marks you'll get the rank of your best marks accordingly this is why you were not able to get any rank while that test.

Try knockout package and don't let this lockdowon stop your studies -

for college admission jee is compulsory Or 12 th board exams enough?

Saisrinandan Ch 3rd Apr, 2020

Hello,

For admissions into B.Tech program, JEE Main score is NOT mandatory.

Some colleges/universities offer admission based on entrance test conducted by themselves. While others offer admission based on merit in Class 12 boards. The better the score, the better the chances to get admission and/or scholarship.

Few colleges that offer direct admission for B.Tech programs are:

Amity University

Sharda University

ITM University Gurgaon

Lovely professional University

Hope this helps.

Thanks.
