i am preparing for iit jee i am in class 12 i haave completed ncert chemistry class 11 and now completing 12 what else i should do?

Rehan Alam Student Expert 28th May, 2020
Dear Aspirant,

You must follow these simple steps:-

1. Check out the syllabus and structure your preparation, made a plan on how you're going to cover the syllabus.

The best thing to help you in this is coaching material from some good institute. They have their material prepared according to the need of the Exam.

2. When the plan is ready, make a schedule. Remember timetable matters a lot for this one year. Be ready to give at least 6 hours per day for the preparation.

3. Solve the questions from question banks and previous year NEET papers.

4. Repeat these steps. Follow --> Learn --> practice.

5. Also keep on revising the stuff every third week. It is also a very crucial step in your preparation.

how should i prepare for physics i am in class 12 and i want to appear iit jee 2021? i dont want to do hc verma as its very hard for me

NILUTPOL Student Expert 28th May, 2020
Hello,
As you have plenty of time for JEE 2021 I would suggest you to first go for the NCERT Book for Physics to clear the basic concepts. Once you are clear with your basics, you can go for practicing questions from previous years question papers. You will get an idea about the types of questions. For physics, HC Verma is the very basic book needed for clearing the higher concepts. If you want to score good marks, then you must have practiced from HC Verma. Then only you will be able to solve questions from JEE advanced.
Here's a list of best books for jee mains

Also, you can go for the JEE mains course by Careers360 which will provide 24x7 faculty support, doubt clearing, frequent mock tests and previous year question papers solutions.
Here's the link for that

is ncert enough for physics iit jee

Bhawna Mehbubani 28th May, 2020

Akanksha, I would suggest NCERT books for any subjects are not enough for IIT JEE. NCERT books cover all the topics as per the IIT JEE syllabus, but everything is explained in brief. Moreover, a lot of practice on numericals is required for a good rank. I would suggest you to go through your +2 level text books, and Arihant and HC Verma if possible for in depth knowledge on topics and good practice on core problem sums.

I wish you good luck!

IS SOLVING HC VERMA QUESTIONS AND IE IRODOV {ONLY} QUESTIONS ENOUGH FOR IIT JEE PHYSICS ALONG WITH PAST YEARS ?

Anantika Kushwaha 28th May, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Having all the concepts cleared and solving plenty of questions is necessary for cracking JEE exam. HC Verma is one of the best books for JEE Physics. Solving it along with Irodov is a good strategy. Solve enough previous years and take mock tests as well and you're ready for JEE Physics. Keep in mind that JEE Advanced has a bit of combining several concepts in a single question. So practicing such questions is mandatory.

ag12345545 Student Expert 28th May, 2020
Hello.
yes new pattern physics by DC Pandey is one of the good book for the preparation of JEE advance but I would suggest you that don't just depend on it, because it is having some questions really good for  the level of JEE advanced but some of these questions are having conceptual errors if it is about the procedure of study then I would suggest you to first go with HC Verma then solve D C Pandey and HC Verma is best book for JEE mains preparation, if you are pursuing with any coaching then you can refer their provided materials.
Best of luck.
