jishua thomas 17th Feb, 2020

Hello aspirant..

As per the expected cutoff for this year for general category it is about 89.75 percentile. YOu need to have a percentile higher than the cutoff to get qualified for the jee advanced examination. IF you are from general category it is little tough. For cutoff of other categories follow the link given below..

what is the marks required by st candidate in jee advanced to get good seat in good iit?

Singampalli sai rahul Student Expert 17th Feb, 2020
Hello aspirant,

The total marks and the exam pattern of JEE ADVANCED exam varies every year so it is difficult to tell what marks you should score to get a seat in IIT's. According, to previous years cutoffs for ST caste candidates have to score a minimum of 5 marks in each subject and a aggregate of 17.5 marks in total.

You can go through this link to check the castwise closing ranks of all the branches in all the IIT's-

i have 73 percentile , am i qualify to jee advance 2020 ? categery is backward classes andhrapradesh

sheba chani 16th Feb, 2020

Hello!

It's difficult to tell the exact qualifying percentile but according to the previous year's data, the probable cutoff for OBC(Other Backward Classes) will range from 74-76. This differs from year to year according to number of students who wrote the exam. Considering this is would appear that you are on the edge.

Keep an eye out for the official cutoff list. All the best!
