Hope this helps!

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries, All the Best!!

I got 88.2032067 percentile in jee main Jan 2020 attempt. Do I qualify for jee advanced with these percentile.? If yes, What rank I should secure in Jee Advanced to get Artificial Intelligence branch at IIT Hyderabad? My category is ST

ayush mishra 27th Jan, 2020
Hey aspirant!
As of now, it is difficult to predict the actual qualifying NTA score for JEE Advanced eligibility. However, going by views of many experts, if you have a percentile above 85-86 then you have a decent enough chance to qualify irrespective of your category. However, you should refer to the previous year JEE Main qualifying cutoff scores by NTA as follows to understand your chances:-
Common Rank List (CRL)

Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL)

Scheduled Caste (SC)

Scheduled Tribe (ST)

Therefore, looking at previous year's trends it is a big possibility that you would qualify for JEE Advanced. Also, you still have another opportunity to improve your results by performing better in the April attempt and I would advise you to be concentrated on that too and give it your best shot.

As regarding your query about Artificial Intelligence at IIT HYDERABAD, it is a relatively new course and so prediction for cutoff is really tough, however an AIR of 600-700 would be sufficient to qualify for it, however, an AIR of under 500 would probably seal you the seat. Also, note that the previous year opening and closing rank for the course was 657 and 1601 respectively for General category while the opening rank for ST students from ST rank list was 142.
Good luck.

For 600rank in st category how much no. And AIR i have to score in jee advanced 2020

Hey there hope you're doing well.
Dear aspirant, see there is no fixed maximum marks for JEE ADVANCED it changes every year and so is the cutoff marks for each subject and category do it's quite difficult to predict at what exact marks you get for much rank. Yes but if you're scoring good marks higher enough that ST cutoff marks you can expect yourself in top ranks in the cat. merit list.
Thank you hope this helps you!

Can a student also apply for jee advanced 2020 if he passed his board in 2018

Subhodeep Biswas 27th Jan, 2020
Hey there hope you're doing well.
Dear aspirant, the eligibility criteria for appearing in JEE ADVANCED says that you can appear in the examination in two consecutive years after board appearing year . So if a student appeared 12th board in 2018 he is not eligible for appearing in JEE ADVANCED 2020.
Thank you hope this helps you!

i hv scored 72.85 in jee mains 2020 n i belong to obc-ncl, do i hv a chance to get seat in top government colleges n will i b eligible for jee advanced ?

Yashu Shrivastava 27th Jan, 2020

Hello Saumya

Sorry to inform you,but you are not eligible for JEE Advance. Also you will not get any top government colleges like NITs and IIITs because your percentile is very low. However you can give one more attempt and if you want to check the colleges you can get with percentile, you can use college predictor tool

I Hope This Helps

Best Of Luck!
