can I prepare in jee advanced? my percentile is 88.33

LAKSHMI AMBIKA 23rd Jan, 2020

Hello Tarang Kheni,

It is better to score 85+ percentile to qualify for the jee advance and this is based on the previous years estimates. so you may have greater chances to qualify for the jee advance exam

meanwhile you can predict your rank and college.

your rank can be predicted using the formula:(100-your total percentile)*869010/100 for jan exam and if the number of candidates increases to 1200000 for april exam then your rank can be (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100.

and you can predict your college using careers360 college predictor:

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor

Hope it helps.

All the best.

what is the minimum percentile to qualify for jee advanced in 2020 for sc category

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 23rd Jan, 2020
Hello.
It is quite difficult to provide you the latest data but yes we can have a probable idea from the previous year qualifying cutoff of JEE mains for JEE advanced so in SC category to be at the safer side you should have at least 55 percentile in your JEE mains.
Best of luck.
