JET 2020 - Jain University will be releasing the online application form of JET 2020 on November 18, 2019. Candidates will have to fill the application form and submit it before the final date to participate in JET 2020. The authorities will conduct JET 2020 tentatively in the second week of April to provide admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by the institutes. JET 2020 will be held in both computer based and pen and paper based mode. Registered candidates will be able to download the admit card of JET 2020 tentatively from the first week of April. The authorities will announce the result of JET 2020 tentatively in the third week of April. During the counselling process, allotment of seats will be done on the basis of JET ranks and preferences selected by the candidates. The eligibility criteria of JET 2020 consists of some conditions and requirements that the candidates have to fulfill to participate in the examination and admission procedure. If these parameters prescribed by the authorities are not met, then the candidates will be termed ineligible for admissions.
Candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from PUC or ISC/CBSE.
Should have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects as third subject:
Technical vocational subject in 10+2
Candidates should have scored atleast 60% aggregate marks in PUC/SYJC/12th or equivalent examination.
For SC/ST category candidates, should have secured minimum 55% aggregate marks in PUC/SYJC/12th or equivalent examination.
Those candidates who are awaiting their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination results will also be eligible to apply for JET 2020.
The authorities will release JET 2020 application form on November 18, 2019 in online mode. Candidates will have to fill the application form of JET 2020 with all of the required personal, academic and communication details. Before filling the application form, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria set by the authorities. The final date to submit the application form will be tentatively in the first week of April 2020.
Step 1 - Registration: In the first step, the candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the registration link. To register, the candidates will have to provide username, email address, password, contact number and more details. An OTP will be sent to the registered email address which has to be submitted by the candidates.
Step 2 - Login: Next, the candidates will be required to log in using their email address and password. Selection of their preferred programme has to be done and then candidates will have to click on “Create Application”.
Step 3 - Filling of Application Form: Personal, academic and communication details have to be submitted by the candidates. All submitted details have to be valid in nature. The candidates will also have to select their preferred examination centre.
Step 4 - Uploading of Documents: After filling out the required details, the candidates will have to upload the documents as specified by the authorities. All of the documents should be scanned and uploaded.

Step 5 - Preview and Editing: Next, the candidate will have to preview the details submitted in the application form of JET 2020. Incorrect or incomplete information will be open for editing.
Step 6 - Payment of Fee: Candidates will be able to pay the application fee using online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode. For the offline mode of payment, the coupons will be available for purchase by cash at the admission office). The required details have to be entered before processing the fee payment.

The exam centres of JET 2020 will consist of the venues where the entrance examination will be conducted by the authorities. While filling out the application form, the candidates will have to select their preferred exam centres. Allotment of centres will be done as per preference and availability of seats. The syllabus of JET 2020 will consist of the topics and units which the candidates will have to study for the upcoming entrance examination. The topics will originate from the 10th and 12th standard CBSE syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates are advised to be familiar with the syllabus before starting off the preparation process to boost their studies. Candidates can be familiar with the exam pattern by solving the sample paper of JET 2020. The type of questions asked in the final examination will be present in the sample paper. Using the sample papers, the candidates will be able to evaluate their preparation and practice. Time management can also be improved by solving the sample papers within the duration allotted.
Jain University will be releasing the mock test of JET 2020 for all candidates. Candidates are advised to prepare for the examination using the mock test which will replicate the exam pattern. By practicing using the mock test, the candidates will be able to know their current preparation status. The mock test will have similar questions which might be asked in the entrance examination. Candidates can practice using the mock test.
Registered candidates will be able to access the admit card of JET 2020 tentatively in the first week of April. Details about the entrance examination such as the venue address, date, timings and more will be available in the admit card. To download the admit card, the candidates will have to use their JET 2020 application number and date of birth. Without the admit card, the candidates will not be allowed inside the exam centres.

The answer key of JET 2020 will be released in online mode after the conclusion of the entrance exam. Candidates will be able to access the correct answers to the questions asked in the entrance examination through the answer key. By comparing their responses to the answer key and following the official marking system, the probable scores secured by the candidates can be calculated. By knowing their probable scores, the candidates will also be able to estimate their ranks.
Jain University will be declaring the result of JET 2020 tentatively in the third week of April. Through the results, the candidates will be able to check their secured scores, rank and more information. The authorities will announce the result in online mode. The cutoff of JET 2020 will consist of the minimum marks that the candidates have to score to have higher chances of admission into the institute. While preparing the cutoff, the authorities will be taken into consideration various factors related to the entrance examination such as difficulty level, number of applicants, previous year cutoff and more. JET 2020 cutoff will act as a screening process for admissions and will be different for each course and category.
The authorities will commence the counselling of JET 2020 tentatively from the third week of April. Details about the counselling venue and timings will be notified to the selected candidates. During the counselling session, allotment of seats will be done as per the secured rank, preferences and availability of seats. Candidates will have to pay the balance fees at the time of the submission of original documents at Kanakapura campus.
Candidates will have to complete the counselling process at the venue. Allotment of seats will be done as per the secured rank, preferences and availability of seats. The candidates need to be present at the venue otherwise their allotted seat will be fortified. Confirmation of admission has to be done by the selected candidates.
