The team conducted offshore faculty recruitment to get overseas faculty & researchers to come and work with the institute. A total of 14 candidates were screened during the trip for positions in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE) and Biomedical Engineering (BME). Two candidates were selected for faculty positions in the departments of Computer Science Engineering (CSE) & Electrical Engineering (EE). Out of the remaining candidates, five were recommended to the respective departments for evaluation, post which their recruitment will be finalised.
The team also met with the Indian diaspora in Australia & Singapore, where Prof. Sarit Kumar Das introduced IIT Ropar and presented his vision and mission about the institute and its possible contribution to the state in solving some of the challenging problems of the State. We visited some of the top universities in Australia & Singapore and discussed collaborations with them on some of the key research areas like biomedical engineering, affordable healthcare, robotics and artificial intelligence. The response we got in return was very encouraging and we are happy to have signed an MoU with the University of New South Wales as part of the collaborations.”

If you want to join colleges out of them I'll suggest iit dhanbaad out of them for cse. It has got a well structured atmosphere for cse. You will find advanced coder both in professors and in students. But other iits mentioned is also good it's your choice what to choose.
According to me between these 3 institutes, i can rate them as :
1. IIT Indore
2. IIT Mandi
3. IIT ropar
Because, IIT Indore has the lowest fees among these and has the lowest cut off as well.
Indore has the highest package record among these three till now which is 28 lakhs.
the teaching can differ according to the courses you choose.
Thankyou, i hope it helps, feel free to approach for further queries.
HII AYUSH KUMAR
it's tough to decide. Both are equally beautiful.
Proximity to the city and other modern facilities, Ropar certainly has an upper hand. Also, given that Chandigarh is less than one hour’s distance, people may prefer ropar over mandi. As with academics, I do not see any difference. Both the institutes' house excellent faculty.
ALL THE BEST
This is quite a complex situation of choosing a college.
Doing MTech in Sensors and Iot will be much better than doing power engineering.
But Iit Ropar has better placements than Iit Jodhpur.
But if you compare in detail doing mtech in sensors and Iot will be better choice as this is in trend .
The placements will be fine in the near future for Iit Jodhpur.
IIT Ropar is a good college. But, it hasn’t shifted yet to the permanent campus. So, it might lag a lot in the campus fun that you could enjoy in older IITs. Xollege have some people for GSoC here and some very good professors and some bad professors. Its like any other IIT.
As far coding culture is concerned, it is very developed. IIT Ropar do not enjoy the benefit of the locations that other newer IITs like Hyderabad and Indore enjoy. But, college is also not too far from Chandigarh. So, you can obviously have fun their.
The placements of CSE for all the IITs stands the best and so it does here. Going by the statistics, IIT Hyderabad, Indore and Ropar have the best placements among all newer IITs and better than some older IITs like BHU, Guwahati. Though, placements completely depend on individual efforts. I consider IIT Ropar CSE to be equally good as CSE in older IITs and some highly performing newer IITs like Hyderabad and Indore.
Doubts arising with respect to the following aspects:
CS department at IIT Gandhinagar started in more years to start a B Tech in CSE just goes onto show the kind of quality control measures IIT GN employs and the kind of standards it sets when it comes to providing world class education. Since the PhD program in CS has been running since a long time now, plenty of research is happening. Minors in CS has always been popular among UG students at IIT Gandhinagar.
The placements in coding profiles have been excellent. It boils down to the individual and the kind of profile he builds during his four years at IIT Gandhinagar.
IIT GN will provide ample opportunities and will encourage the interests of its students greatly. Making the best use of the resources and opportunities available is up to the individual.
