IIT Roorkee M.Tech Admission 2021 - Candidates willing to pursue M.Tech at IIT Roorkee may note that the admissions shall commence after GATE result 2021 is announced. The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee offers more than 50 M.Tech specializations. Candidates aspiring for IIT Roorkee 2021 M.Tech admission will have to fill the online application form to be released tentatively in the third week of March. IIT Roorkee 2021 M.Tech Application Form

The authorities are expected to release the IIT Roorkee application form for M.Tech in the third week of March 2021. The application form will be released online on the official website and candidates will have to submit the same before last date. Candidates are allowed to apply for a maximum of 4 departments and give preference for a maximum of 13 academic programmes for IIT Roorkee M.Tech admission 2021.

Steps to fill IIT Roorkee M.Tech Application

Candidates need to follow the given steps to apply for IIT Roorkee 2021 M.Tech admissions:

Registration - Candidates will have to first register online by providing the basic information like email Id, mobile number, etc. After successful registration, they will receive a registration ID and password to be used for further logins.

Filling Application Form - After successful registration, candidates have to login at the candidate portal with the registration ID and password received earlier and fill all the required details of the form like personal, academic and communicational details.
Uploading Documents - Candidates will be required to upload certain documents while filling the online application form for IIT Roorkee 2021 M.Tech admission. The documents to be uploaded along with the format specification have been provided in the table below:

IIT Roorkee M.Tech Admission Procedure

After the applications for IIT Roorkee 2021 M.Tech admission are over, the authorities shall prepare a merit list for candidates based on GATE scores and qualifying marks for IIT graduates. Admissions to IITRoorkee M.Tech programmes shall be based on the merit list so prepared by the officials. However, it may be noted that candidates of sponsored category applying for IIT Roorkee M.Tech admission 2021 will have to undergo a written test and interview as well. Selected candidates will get admission into one of the programmes applied for based on their complying with the eligibility criteria for IIT Roorkee 2021 M.Tech admission.

In the CS 2021 GATE syllabus, only the word integration is mentioned. So, do we just have to consider only Definite and Indefinite integrals or we should be studying on multiple integrals and gamma / beta integration too just like the ECE syllabus ?

Dear student,

Yes, you have to study the whole Integration as like ECE or EE or CH or CE or ME branches.
The word integration doesn't means that it will only come as indefinite or definite integration. You have to study all the sub topics, like single integration, double integration, triple integration, gamma or beta function, Euler's formula, wallis theorem, etc.

You can check out the cse previous years question papers for the detailed topic wise distribution.
Because in the syllabus it is not mentioned topics wise, but if you see the previous years question papers, then you would get all sorts of questions based on integration.

If i have cleared gate in 2021 then can i take admission for MTech in 2022?

Dear student,
A gate scorecard hs valid for 3 years so definitely if you crack gate in the year 2021 then you can take admission on the basis of your scorecard in the year 2022. However if you wish yo improve your score, then you can again appear for gate and then the that scorecard will be valid for the next 3 years.

Revising through what you have studied in your Undergraduate Course will definitely help you in preparing for GATE! If you can just brush through your UG syllabus which most probably includes syllabus of GATE, then you can ace it. There are also many books penned for the preparation of GATE and sometimes you have E - Copy of these books too. You can also prepare by glancing through previous years' Question Papers and sample papers. Both the courses as well as the colleges are very good and its upto your choice and interest now.
However i would like to give you one piece of advise and that is that choose Psychology and Maths only of you have keen interest in psychology and a solid background in mathematics because if you will not have that then you will face difficulties in academics.
