IIT Bombay Placements - Salary Trends, Highest, Average & Median Salary, Top Companies

Indian Institute of Technology Bombay has a separate training and placement cell that handles the placement activities on campus. More than 350 companies are expected to participate in the placement season of IIT Bombay which continues till December.  IIT Bombay placements,  around 40 companies interviewed students in two slots. On day 1 there was an 80% increase in the regular recruiters as compared to last year.

Companies like Procter and Gamble, Sony Japan, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Tata Group, and many more participated in the  Indian Institute of Technology Bombay placements.  During the IITB placement drive, over 200 Pre Placement Offers were accepted. The recruiting firms made a total of 1898 job offers to students; from these, 1516 offers were accepted during IIT Bombay Placements 2022-2023. The IIT Bombay highest domestic package offered was Rs 1.68 crore per annum and the highest international package offered was Rs 3.67 crore per annum (USD 2.87 lakh). • The placement office sends invitations to the companies to attend the IIT Bombay placement drive.

• Interested recruiters will create an account on the website of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. 

• Recruiters can then create the jobs or internships containing the job details which will be verified by the executive officers.

• After verifications, the job offers are made available for the students and interested students can apply for these jobs.

• Companies shortlist the students based on their resumes.

• Thereafter, companies conduct the screening process and shortlist the students for the interview process. 

•  Companies provide a list of the selected students to the IITB placement cell.
