A formal invitation is sent to the organizations by the Training and Placement Cell (T&P) of IIT BHU.
The companies interested need to fill in the Job Notification Form (JNF) and submit it to the Training and Placement Cell. The JNF serves as an introduction of the job profile for candidates’ benefit and also informs them of the company’s requirements.
T&P cell broadcasts the relevant content of JNF electronically to all students with all the company’s information.
Following this, the candidates’ interested show their willingness to appear in the recruitment process of the company online.
The resumes of the interested candidates are sent to the company.
Company shortlists the candidates before beginning the placement process.
For conducting Pre-Placement Talk (PPT)/ Written Test/ Online Test, companies are allotted slots and dates. In this process, student coordinators play a vital role by deciding on the dates of mutual convenience and availability.
Company shortlists students and also present a list of waitlisted candidates who can be interviewed in case of shortlisted candidates not showing up.
For the final placement process, the list of shortlisted candidates is mailed to T&P Cell by the company tentatively by November.
The interviews for placements begin from December.
After the conduction of interviews, the companies present the final list of selected candidates to the college, along with the waitlist in case of non-availability of selected candidates.
T&P Cell receives the offer letters by the end of April.
