IIST M.Tech Application Form 2017- The application form of IIST M.Tech 2017 will be available tentatively from the first week of April. IIST M.Tech 2017 application form can be filled only in online mode. To pay the application fee, the candidate will have to first complete profile registration and then course registration. During course registration, the candidate has to download the course-specific challan and take a printout. After two working days of filling the course registration form, the candidate will have to take the printed challan to a nearby SBI branch and pay the application fee. Upon payment of the fee, the bank officials will hand the candidate the signed student’s copy and institute copy of the challan with the journal number inscribed in them. The candidate will then scan the copies and upload them on the registration site to complete the registration process. The application fee for regular candidates is Rs. 600. Reserved category and women candidates have to pay only Rs. 300 as IIST M.Tech application fee 2017. Admission to M.Tech courses at IIST will be based on GATE scores and a written test/interview. How to fill IIST M.Tech 2017 Application Form

 

When filling the application form of IIST M.Tech 2017, care must be taken to fill all the essential fields and enter only verifiable data. Partially filled and those with wrong details will be rejected. Mentioned below is the process to fill and submit the IIST M.Tech application form 2017 as per last year’s notification issued by Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology.

 

The candidate can fill and submit the application form of IIST M.Tech admission by following the below mentioned three steps:

  1. Profile Registration

  2. Course Registration

  3. Priting the challan and uploading of Institute copy of challan

Step 1: Profile Registration

 

This is the first step towards filling the IIST M.Tech 2017 application form. Before proceeding the candidate must make sure that he/she has a working email ID.

  • Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of IIST M.Tech 2017 have to upload scanned copies of their recent photograph and signature in the designated space in JPG/JPEG format. The allowed file size is 100 kb and the photo should also have a white background.

  • The photograph should have a white background. Also, the allowed maximum file size in both cases is 100 kb.

  • If the candidates belong to any specific category, they must upload the relevant caste certificate pertaining to it. For persons with disabilities (PWD), a medical certificate issued by competent medical authority is required.

  • Fill in personal details, including address of communication, academic details, and other required details.

  • To complete the profile registration process for IIST M.Tech Admission 2017, click the “Confirm” button

If the profile registration is successful, a machine generated IIST Registration Number and Login Password will be sent to the email ID that the candidate shared at the time of registration. These IIST number and password will be required to access other parts of the IIST M.Tech application form 2017 and therefore should be kept safely.

 

Step 2: Course Registration

 

In the second step, the candidate has to pick the course he/she wants to pursue and enter details related to that course.

  • To initiate the course registration processm, the candidates must use the log-in credentials shared with them to log-in

  • Next, the candidates will pick the course to which admission is sought and enter all the mandatory fields

  • Finally, the candidate will have to download the challan that will be generated for the course. The challan is required to make payment at any SBI branch.

Step 3: Take printouts of the challan and upload institute copy of challan

  • For making the payment with the downloaded challan, the candidate will have to take printouts first. The candidate can choose any SBI branch to pay the application fee.

  • It is to be noted that the candidate cannot immediately make the payment using the challan after submitting the course registration form. Instead, the candidate has to wait for the passage of two working days since course registration to make the payment. While at the bank, the candidate must remember to collect the student’s copy and institute copy of the challan displaying the journal number properly signed by the bank official.

  • The candidate has to then upload the scanned copies of the items to complete the IIST M.Tech 2017 application form.

The candidate must keep the student’s copy and institute copy safely so that they can be produced if needed.

 

Application Fee:

  • For general category candidates, the IIST M.Tech 2017 application form fee is Rs. 600 per department.

  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PWD categories have to pay only Rs. 300 as application fee.

Academic Qualification required for appeaeing in GATE examination is that Candidates must have passed graduation in engineering/technology or Masters degree in any relevant science subject.
Candidates applying for GATE 2020 must have completed their Bachelor's degree or must be in the final year of their graduation. Candidates who have completed their Bachelor's degree are required to submit the passing certificate and candidates who are currently in their final year must submit a certificate from their institutes principal.

I am in 8th semester. So i am starting preparation for Gate 2020 . I have 2 months approximately. Is that enough to go for the kill ?

I get confused with gate preparation what should I do first understanding the concepts or analysis of question papers or reading reference books which are bit difficult but I cant understand which topics are important and which not or I should do firstly watching YouTube video for better .

Before starting preparation first you should know the exam pattern and proper weightage for all the concepts. This can be known by analysing the previous year papers. Hi there hope you are doing well. I am sorry to say that you have chance to to change your examination centre but you have exceeded the time limit as a the date was given for changing the the examination city on request was of 14th November 2019. Hope this will help you good luck
