IIST B.Tech Seat Allotment 2017 - Candidates who have applied for admission to IIST will be considered for IIST B.Tech 2017 seat allotment based on their All-India Rank in JEE Advanced 2017. Based on the rank obtained by applicants in JEE Advanced 2017, an IIST admission rank list has been released and the candidates will be called for interview. Candidates need to get registered online on IIST admission portal and meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the admissions committee, or else they will not be included in the admission rank list and considered for admission. Separate IIST admission rank lists have been published for different categories and allotment of IIST B.Tech seats will be carried out accordingly. Candidates are required to be physically present at the counselling centre on the day of counselling accompanied by the necessary original documents and copies. Candidates missing the counselling or attending the counselling with incomplete documents would not be considered for admission. During the counselling process, candidates will be able to exercise choice filling. Those ranked higher in the rank list will be called first for choice filling, and will therefore have more options to choose from. The different stages of IIST B.Tech 2017 seat allotment process are explained in detail below; so keep reading.

jee advanced 2020min mark in sc category for top 10 iits?

_Abhishek_Vatsya Student Expert 10th Dec, 2019
Hey!There
It is really tough to make prediction about minimum score in any specific category that can fetch you seat in top IITs as in last two years cuttoff has changed drastically. This year cuttoff was changed dramatically as paper was tough.JEE ADVANCE question setter keep changing level of questions each year,so it's really tough to make any prediction before examination.Despite all this, you can target 130+ for having seat in IITs with SC category that's what previous year trends says..
I hope this helps..

Is there anyway to enter in iit if i couldnt qualify jee advance exam??

Aditi Amrendra Student Expert 9th Dec, 2019
Hello,

If you want to do B.tech then unfortunately you cant because jee advance is the inky way.But if you want to do other courses in IITs like B.Sc, Designing, Management etc then exams like IIT JAM, CAT, UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design), CEED(Common Entrance Exam for Design) , HSEE (Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Exam) can help you to get in IITs.

I hope this helps.
