Step-by-step Procedure to fill IIST B.Tech 2019 Application Form

Candidates aspiring to apply for IIST B.Tech admission 2019 can check the detailed step by step procedure to fill and submit the application form which is given below:


Step 1- Registration:

The candidates will have to register using the following information:

  • JEE Advanced 2019 roll number

  • Date of birth.

Step 2-Filling of requisite details:

After the successful registration, the candidates will have to enter the required information to fill the IIST B.Tech Application Form 2019. Details like personal and academic information have to be entered. The following details have to be entered:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Contact number

  • Marks obtained in JEE Advanced

  • Marks obtained in JEE Main

Step 3- Application Fee Payment:

After reviewing all the filled details, candidates will have to pay a non-refundable amount of application fee. The payment has to be done in online mode through SBI-Collect. The amount of fee which has to be paid is given below:

Step 4- Choice filling:

After logging in using their IIST registration number and password, the candidates will have to select their choices of courses. The selection should be done in the order of preference. It is important for the candidates to select their preference otherwise they will not be able to participate in the admission process.

IIST B.Tech 2019 Admission Process

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology will conduct IIST B.Tech Admission 2019 for admissions into the offered B.Tech courses in the institute. Since there is no entrance examination conducted, IIST B.Tech Admission will be done on the basis of JEE Advanced scores. The counselling of IIST B.Tech Admission 2019 will be conducted online and seats will be allotted on the basis of the rank list, preferences selected and availability of seats.

If you are planning on joining IIST after your 12th for their Undergraduation programme, then yes you need to appear and qualify in JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced is the entrance examination for admission to their 4 year B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, 4 year Avionics Engineering and a 5 year Dual Degree programme. The minimum marks to score is called the cutoff, which differs from caste to caste. The numerical type questions in mains 2020, are like jee advance pattern means answer should be in upto two decimal places

Hello dear aspirant.

It is not completely advanced basis but something is inherited from there.

This year onwards JEE mains will be of 300 marks. Total 75 questions. 25 Questions per subject 20 mcqs and five numerical value answer type question.
