Originally after the establishment of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam was operating from the temporary campuses of Amal Jyothi Engineering College and GIFT campus. But, in 2019, the permanent campus was inaugurated, and the college operations shifted. The permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam is in Valavoor, Palai, Kerala. The entire campus is built on a large area that is supported and provisioned with wind and solar energy. The campus is located between Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. If we compare all of these IIITs then IIIT Nagpur will be my first preference for ECE the median salary offered by IIIT Nagpur branch was 16 lakh around ,then IIIT Nagpur the average salary around 14 lakh then IIIT trichy with average CTC 9.7 LPA.

I got 95.1 percentile in jee can I get cse ?
Dear aspirant,
We can't really predict the situation accurately as the cutoffs keep varying every year but looking at the previous year cutoffs, it is slightly difficult for you to get CSE in top NITs if you belong to the general category. You might have a chance to get CSE in NIT Mizoram, NIT Puducherry, IIIT Kanchipuram etc especially if you have a home state quota privilege. For more details please check the rank predictor.

I have already took admission in jec jabalpur cse ( before josaa counseling ) but now in josaa counseling i got seat in iiit Kottayam cse. Shoul I leave the seat of jec jabalpur and take the seat at iiit Kottayam or vice versa.
I think that you should leave your present college at the drop of a hat to get admission into Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam. IIITs in India are institutions of national importance, and if you talk about CSE, then the quality faculty at any IIIT is unparalleled, and even IITs lag behind some of the top IIITs in terms of faculty.
Moreover, the placement at IIIT Kottayam are splendid and in 2021, the highest package was 42 LPA with an average of 10.35 LPA, which is increasing YoY. Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
