How to fill KCET 2020 Application Form – Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has closed the KCET application form filling which was reopened again from March 7 to 16. However, the last date to pay the fees will be February 18. Earlier, the authorities closed the KCET 2020 application form on March 2. The application form was available from February 5 on the official website in online mode. For filling the application form, candidates had to first complete the KCET registration. How to fill KCET Application Form 2020
Candidates can refer to the step by step procedure to fill the KCET 2020 application form given below-

Visit the official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
Click on the Application Link.
Click on “New User? Click Here to Register” available at the bottom of the page.
After this, a page containing instructions about the application fee with bank and post office charges and instructions to upload Photo, Signature and Thumb Impression will be displayed on the screen.
Read all the instructions carefully.
After reading the instructions, click on “Proceed to Apply Online” button at the bottom of the page.
Step 3- Candidate Registration
Once the candidates will click on "Proceed" Button, they will be redirected to the candidate registration page.
Answer the question “Whether the Student is a Citizen of India?” by clicking on the correct option Yes or No for candidate registration.
Answer the question “Appearing in “Karnataka 2nd PUC Annual Examination 2020 (Science) by clicking Yes or No.
In case the candidates choose 'Yes', they will be required to enter the 13 digit "Student Number" assigned by PUE Department. If candidates select 'No', they can simply proceed ahead with filling the application details.
Filling of Candidate Registration Form Details:
Candidates will have to enter the following details to complete the candidate registration-
Name of the Candidate (As per SSLC/10th Marks Card)
Name of the Father (As per SSLC/10th Marks Card)
Name of the Mother (As per SSLC/10th Marks Card)
Select Gender - Male or Female
Enter Date Of Birth (As per SSLC/10th Marks Card)
Contact Mobile Number (Candidate)
Create a User - Id (Minimum 6 Characters)
Create a Password (Minimum 8 characters)
Select a secret question from the 5 questions in the drop down list. Note: you must select a question which is easy to answer and you must remember the question and its answer till the admission procedure is complete.
Answer the secret question
Enter SSLC/10th Class registration number
Enter your Adhaar Number (Note: Aadhaar card number is an optional step, you may skip entering it)
Enter security code reflecting on the page in Red colour and click on "Submit" button.

Step 4: Generation of Registration Status, Application Number and User ID
Once the candidates will click on the "Submit" button in the registration form, registration status, Application Number and User ID will be displayed on the screen.
After this, candidates will have to click on “Click Here” link to Log In to the Candidate account.
Step 5: Log In
Enter your generated User ID, Password and Security Code
Click on Log In button
Step 6: Student Information
After clicking on log in button, various student details will have to be filled by the candidate along with postal address details for communication.
Enter the following details:
Enter Father's name
Enter Mother's name
Select state from the dropdown list
Select the District and Taluk also from the dropdown list. If candidates are from a state other than Karnataka, they will have to enter the District and Taluk’s name manually.
Enter pin code
Enter alternate phone number (not mandatory)
Enter Aadhaar Number (Optional)
Have to appeared for Previous CET/NEET/NATA exam? - Click on Yes or NO
Enter CET number if you click on Yes and enter the year of appearance in CET
Answer the question – Have you obtained any seat in CET and taken admission to college? - Yes or No
Click on “Save and Next” button
Step 7: Enter/Select reservation Details
Select Eligibility Clause Code from the dropdown list
Select Mother Tongue (As per School/College Record) from the drop down list
Did you write the 10th and 12th examination both in Karnataka- Yes/No
Select total number of completed years of study in Karnataka.
Are you claiming Minority Quota- Yes/No
Are you claiming Linguistic Minority Quota- Yes/No
Mention name of the caste
Select Reservation Category
Enter Caste/Category/Income Certificate Number. (Optional).
Manually enter the annual income of the family.
Select the place to appear for CET-2020 or exam centre. (You can only select 1 exam centre).
Are you a Jammu & Kashmir Migrant?- Yes/No
Note: Candidates must mention/select the actual category/caste/income as at the time of counselling the same certificates have to be produced. No change can be made in the category after application submission.
After entering all the reservation details, candidates will have to enter examination details-
Select Qualifying Examination Board from the drop down list.
Mention the University/Board Name.
In case of Karnataka CBSE/CISCE, choose school name from the dropdown list.
Are you appearing for Karnataka 2nd PUC Annual Examination (Science)?- Yes/No
If Yes, enter PUC Number.
If No, enter year of passing
Have you studied SSLC/10th standard in Karnataka?-Yes/No
Select State (from the dropdown list) where appeared for 2nd PUC/12th/Equivalent exam
Select District where you have appeared for 2nd PUC/12th/Equivalent exam (If Karnataka)
Select Native State
Select Native District
Are you eligible to claim reservation under agriculturist quota? (Applicable only for Farm Science Courses)
Select Agriculture Practical Exam Centre from the dropdown list.
Now, click on "Save and Next" button.
Step 8: Enter Study Details
After entering the examination details, candidates will have to enter the study details-
Mention complete name, address and telephone number of the school/institute where the candidates have completed their study from 1st standard to II PUC/12th standard/Qualifying Examination. Mention the address and name with phone number of each school separately corresponding to the class studied.
Enter the class, year of appearing (from and to) and year of passing.
Candidates have the option to edit/delete the details enter.
Candidates must note that they will have to enter their Class 12 marks and upload their mark sheet by clicking on "12/2nd PU/CBSE/ICSE/Others Previous Year Marks Entry".
Once all details are correct, click on “Save and Next Button.

Step 9: Upload Images
Candidates have to upload their photograph, signature and left thumb impression. They also have to upload signature/left thumb impression of the parent/guardian.
Click on "Choose file" in each section and then click on upload button. Image specification are given below.

After uploading the images, click on “Save and Next” button.
Step 10: Declaration
Read the declaration carefully and check the images uploaded by you.
Click on/tick mark the declaration (I agree)
Click on Next button
Step 11: Fee Payment
If clicking on next button does not take you to the fee payment bank, then click on the Challan button from the tabs available at the top of the page.
You will find 2 options for fee payment – Challan or Online payment
For fee payment through challan, select any of the 2 bank options – SBI or ICICI Bank and click on Download Challan button. After downloading the challan, you need to take print put of the challan and take the challan copy to any branch of the bank selected in the application form. Pay the application fee in cash as per the challan. The bank will retain its copy and return the other two copies to you. Keep this safe, as you need to produce it at the time of counselling along with your printed application form of KCET 2018.
For online payment, click on BillDesk – Online Pay button and select from the options – Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. Enter your card/bank details and pay the fee. After successful fee payment, your fee payment success will be generated online with all details.

Step 12: Printout of the Filled Application Form
After fee payment, candidates must take printout of the filled application form on A-4 Size sheet. Affix candidate’s recent Passport size Photograph, Signature, Left Hand Thumb Impression on the specified space. Besides this, they have to have the seal and signature of the principal of the college (where they have studied 2nd PU or 12th Standard or are appearing) or by any Gazetted Officer in the specified space. This copy has to be produced during document verification along with the copy of the Challan (KEA copy).
