The candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board or university.
Minimum 45% marks (42.75% for reserved categories) should have been secured by the candidates in Physics, Mathematics and any of the following subject - Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology/Technical Vocational Subject.

Haryana B.Tech 2019 Admission Procedure for Kashmiri Migrants
Kashmiri Migrants will be able to get admission into supernumerary seats on the basis of inter-se-merit of qualifying examination. The percentage will be calculated on the basis of inter-se-merit of Mathematics, Physics, English and any of the following - Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject. The candidates will also be required to keep ready the original certificate of migration signed by a competent authority.
Haryana B.Tech 2019 Admission Procedure for Haryana Govt. School Topper (HGST) category
Haryana B.Tech Admission 2019 into this category will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of 10+2 out of each topper (having minimum 2nd division i.e., 50% marks in aggregate) of Govt. Senior Secondary School offering Science stream (having minimum 5 students on roll in the Science stream), subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. These candidates will have to produce a certificate in support of their category claim from the Principal/Headmaster of the Govt. School of which the candidate is topper clearly stating the number of students in the class.
Haryana B.Tech 2019 Admission Procedure for Tuition Fee Waiver
These supernumerary seats will be available to such courses in an institute where a minimum of 30% of the sanctioned seats are filled up. The waiver is meant for economically weaker students. These seats will be filled on the basis of JEE Main 2019 rank through online counselling by Haryana State Technical Society through NIC.

In UIET,kurukshetra they take admissions on the basis of NATA/ JEE with 10+2 percentage.10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology as optional.
They have not specifically mentioned any percentage in there website,but according to some students its above 60 to 65 %.They also check the individual score of Main subjects.
