Haryana B.Tech CounsellingHaryana B.Tech Counselling 2017 - The second allotment list of Haryana B.Tech Admission 2017 has been declared in online mode on July 10. The candidates can now check their allotment status. Allotment of B. Tech/B.E seats in engineering colleges in Haryana is done through a centralised online off-campus counselling conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). The merit list for the counselling session has been released. The first round of Haryana B.Tech counselling 2017 registrations was held from June 15 to 19, 2017. The counselling of Haryana B.Tech 2017 includes online registration, counselling fee payment, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, reporting to the allotted institute and paying the first-semester fee. Candidates appearing in Haryana B.Tech counselling 2017 have to pay a counselling fee of Rs. 500; the payment can be made online and offline. Candidates can pay the counselling fee through the link below. For online payment, the candidates can pay the fee through net banking, credit/debit card using the online payment gateway. For offline payment, the candidates have to generate e-challan for cash payment at any computerized branches of Axis or PNB banks. The choices entered by the candidate can be modified, but once the choices are locked, no additional changes are allowed. If a candidate doesn’t lock the choices, the last filled choice would be considered as final. First Round of Haryana B. Tech counselling 2017:

 

The first round of counselling for Haryana B. Tech Admission 2017 was open to all categories: AIC, HOGC, KM,TFW, SC, BC-A, BC-B, EBP PH, ESM (with all priorities) and FF. Each category will have 25% Horizontal Female reservation.

 

Second Round of Haryana B. Tech counselling 2017:

 

This round includes candidates from AIC, HOGC, K M, TFW, SC, BC (by merging BCA and BCB in BC), EBP, PH and merging all ESM (all priorities) and FF categories with 25% Horizontal Female reservation.

 

How to participate in Haryana B.Tech 2017 Counselling?

 

The counselling process of Haryana B.Tech 2017 includes the following stages:

  • Registration and counselling fee payment

  • Choice filling and choice locking

  • Seat Allotment

  • Reporting to the allotted institute and paying 1-semester fee

Online registration for Haryana B.Tech counselling 2017

 

Before registering online for Haryana B. Tech Admission counselling 2017, the candidate had to pay the counselling fee. Candidates who did not pay the counselling fee, their allotted seats may be cancelled.

 

Application fee: The counselling fee was Rs. 500 for candidates of all categories and could be paid online and offline (through e-challan). 

To pay the application fee:

  • Enter the following details in the payment portal:

  1. Name of the course for which admission is sought

  2. Roll Number

  3. Application Number

  4. Name of the Candidates

  5. Date of Birth

  6. Enter the Security Code

  7. Submit

  8. Pay the counselling fee

The candidate must enter the above data as per JEE Main 2017 Admit Card or as provided by HSTES.

 

Payment mode: The payment could be made either through e-challan generated online or through Credit/Debit or Net-banking. For payment through e-challan, the candidate had to take a printout of the challan and deposit the counselling fee the next day at a designated AXIS or PNB Bank. The candidate also had to obtain the payment receipt duly stamped by the bank official and keep it with him/her for future use.

Haryana B.Tech Choice Filling  and Choice Locking 2017:

 

Log in using the chosen password and user ID to submit choices: The candidate has to log in using the password and user ID and confirm his/her registration details. After confirmation, the candidate has to submit his/her choices. To maximise chances of selection, it is advisable that the candidate fill more than one choice.

 

Important Points about Choice Filling:

  • Without registration, the choice filling can not be done.

  • Candidates can see their eligible choices and can also take printouts of the eligible choices.

  • They can fill/modify/add the choices of the institutes they want admission in as per the order of their preference before the specified time frame.

  • After entering the choices, the candidate needs to lock the choices.

Haryana B.Tech 2017 Seat Allotment:

  • After the choice filling and choice locking candidates have to wait for seat allotment of Haryana B.Tech 2017 counselling. 

  • The seat allotment result of first round of Counselling of Haryana B.Tech 2017 counselling has been declared on while the result of round II will be declared at 5 pm on July 5.

  • Candidates will be allotted seats as per their choices.

  • Once the seat allotment is done, candidates must take at least 2 printouts of the provisional seat allotment letter which reflects the institute, branch, allotment status and reporting time and duration.

  • With the seat allotment letter, counselling fee payment receipt and all documents (list given below), the candidates have to personally visit the allotted institute. They also have to pay first semester fee at the allotted institute for confirming their admission/seat.

Reporting, Document Verification and Semester Fee Payment:

  • While reporting to the allotted institute, the seat allotment letter and documents of the candidates will be verified first.

  • After verification, the institute will generate 2 copies of admission slips – one for the candidate and another for the institute’s records. After getting the Provisional Admission Slip from the institute, the candidates have to pay first semester fee.

  • If candidates want upgradation, they can participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling.

Haryana B. Tech Counselling 2017: Other important details

  • Allotment of B.E/B. Tech seats (Including candidates belonging to Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) will be done on the basis rank obtained in JEE Main 2017.

  • Candidates belonging to Kashmiri Migrants (K.M.) and Haryana Government School Toppers (HGST) categories will be allotted seats based of inter-se merit of percentage of qualifying exam.

  • Candidates seeking admission under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) category will be offered seats based on All India Ranks obtained by the candidates in JEE MAIN 2017.

Documents to be brought at the time of document verification:

While reporting to the allotted institute, the candidates have to bring the following Certificates/Documents/Testimonials in original along with three sets of duly attested photocopies,

  • Qualifying Examination certificate - 10+2/Intermediate/Senior Secondary School Examination

  • Matriculation/High School Certificate

  • JEE Main 2017 rank card/NATA Score Card

  • Character Certificate

  • Regular candidates: must submit their character certificate

  • Private Candidates: must submit their Character Certificate, duly signed by a First Class Magistrate.

  • Residents Certificate (if applicable) - Candidates who have passed their qualifying exam from a Board/Recognized School located in the State of Haryana

  • Certificate from the Employer in the case of Employees of Govt. of Haryana, members of All India Services borne on Haryana Cadre, Employees of

  • Statutory Bodies/Corporations (if applicable)

  • Scheduled Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Backward Class Certificate (if applicable) and affidavit

  • Economically Backward Persons in General Castes Category (EBP) must submit and produce a certificate in the prescribed format

  • Certificate in respect of Physically Handicapped Candidates (if applicable)

  • Certificate by the Children & Grand-children of Freedom Fighters (if applicable)

  • Certificate from wards of Deceased/Disabled/Discharged Military/Para-Military personnel/Ex-Servicemen or Ex-Personnel of Para-Military Forces Certificate from wards of ex-employee of Indian Defence Services/Para-Military Forces

  • Certificate of Medical Fitness

  • Admit Card of JEE Main 2017/NATA

  • Proof of annual parental income from all sources (in case of TFW quota candidates & BC, EBP candidates)

  • Undertaking of Antiragging by the student (as per the prescribed format)

  • Undertaking of Antiragging by the Parent/Guadian (as per the prescribed format)

  • Aadhaar Number (Enrolment number in case Adhaar is not available)

  • Coloured Photograph (in JPG format, size Maximum 30 KB) and signatures of candidate (in JPG format, size maximum 20 KB)
