GUJCET 2018: GUJCET answer key has been released by some of the coaching institutes. Candidates can check the answer key of GUJCET 2018 by coaqching institutes. The offline admit card of GUJCET was available in some centres on April 16 (11 AM to 4 PM). The online application form of GUJCET 2018 was available from March 23. Candidates could fill and submit the GUJCET 2018 application form till April 7. Before filling the application form, the candidates had to pay the fee at the centres and obtain the User ID and password by April 6. GSEB will conduct GUJCET 2018 on April 23, 2018 in the offline mode. For admissions, the authorities will prepare a merit list based on 60% weightage on 10+2 qualifying examination marks and 40% weightage on GUJCET 2018 marks. The result will be announced tentatively in the fourth week of April 2018. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will be responsible for the online GUJCET counselling and seat allotment process. GUJCET 2018 Answer key has been released by some of the coaching institutes. Candidates can now check and compare their answers with the answers on the answer key of GUJCET. The provisional answer key of GUJCET 2018 will be released in the fourth week of April 2018 by the concerned authorities. The probable scores of the candidates who attempted the entrance examination can be calculated by using the released answer key. The recorded responses of the candidates can be compared to the correct answers as per the GUJCET 2018 answer key. Official marking scheme has to be followed to calculate the scores. The released answer key of GUJCET 2018 can be challenged by the candidates. The final answer key will be published after all challenges are checked by the authorities.
GSEB has published the admit card of GUJCET 2018 in online mode. The admit card is an important document that must be produced at the examination centre. If the candidates are not able to bring the admit card, then he/she will not be allowed to sit for the examination. GUJCET admit card 2018 will consist of the registration number of the candidate, examination centre, timing details and more. The offline admit card was also made available at some centres on April 16 (11 AM to 4 PM).
Steps to download GUJCET 2018 Admit Card
The GUJCET 2018 application number or name has to be submitted.
The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
After checking for discrepancies, the candidates will have to download and print out the admit card.
Before registering and filling the application form of GUJCET 2018, the candidates had to pay the application fee at the designated help centres from March 23 to April 6. Only after the payment is done, the User ID was provided to the candidates which was required during registration. The online application form of GUJCET 2018 was available till April 7. The candidates were required to provide valid information while filling the online application form. The given steps had to be followed to successfully register themselves for GUJCET 2018.
Step 1 – Obtaining User ID: The candidates had to obtain a DD of Rs. 300 in favour of “Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar”. The fees had be deposited at any of the designated help centres after which the candidate were given their User ID.
Step 2 – Registration: Using the given User ID, the candidates had to register themselves for GUJCET 2018.
Step 3 – Filling the Application Form: The personal, exam, school and board of the candidates had to be filled in. All information submitted had to be according to the documents that are owned by the candidates.
Step 4 – Uploading of Documents: The photograph and signature of the candidates had to be scanned and uploaded as per the specifications required.
Step 5 – Submission of GUJCET 2018 Application Form: After reviewing all of the information submitted, the candidates were able to submit their application form. Following the submission, the application number was generated and sent to the registered email address of the applicant.
To be eligible for admissions, all candidates will be required to meet certain criteria which are set by the concerned authorities. Various eligibility criteria such as age, nationality, domicile, educational qualification and more have to be satisfied by the candidates. Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to participate in the admission procedure.
The candidate should be of Indian nationality.
All candidates should be bonafide residents of Gujarat. Bonafide residents of Gujarat who are residing in other states of the country will also be eligible for GUJCET 2018.
Should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE, Delhi/CISCE, New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board.
Candidates who will be completing their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in 2018 will also be eligible for admission.
- Minimum score of 45% has to be secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam. The reserved category candidates will have to score 40% marks.

How to Prepare for GUJCET 2018

The syllabus of GUJCET 2018 consists of the topics and chapters that all aspiring candidates will have to study for the examination. Most of the topics in the GUJCET 2018 syllabus will be similar to the chapters studied by the candidates for their 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination. By referring to the syllabus, the candidates will be able to know which are the important topics to study and will be able to focus on their preparation.
GUJCET 2018 Sample Papers
The candidates can check the sample papers of GUJCET 2018 which will consist of previous year questions papers. By solving the GUJCET 2018 sample papers, the candidates will be able to strengthen their preparation progress as they will have an idea of how the examination pattern will be. Attempting the sample papers will also let the candidates know the type of questions which may be asked in the examination, the weightage given to each section and will also be able to enable time efficiency.
GUJCET 2018 cutoff will consist of the minimum marks that all candidates will be required to secure for admissions into the participating institutes. The concerned authorities will prepare the cutoff ranks to screen the admission process. Many factors will be considered during the determination of the cutoff. The opening and closing ranks for admissions will be available for all institutes and courses. The cutoff ranks will be different for each institute and course.
The result of GUJCET 2018 will be declared by GSEB tentatively in the fourth week of May 2018. The candidates will be able to obtain the GUJCET 2018 result by using their application number or registered application name. From the declared result, the candidates will be able to obtain their subject wise obtained marks, total marks and ranking. Those candidates who manage to secure the required marks will be eligible for allotment of seats.
GUJCET Merit List 2018
GUJCET 2018 merit list will consist of the candidates who are eligible for the counselling and seat allotment process. The candidates will be able to access the merit list in online mode by submitting their User ID. A provisional merit list will be released followed by the final list. 60% weightage will be given to the candidate’s score in 10+2 (or equivalent) qualification and 40% weightage will be given to the secured score of the candidate in GUJCET 2018 while preparing the merit list. The candidates will be ranked as per their merit and will be called for the counselling session. The allotment of seats will be done as per the ranking of the candidates in the released GUJCET 2018 merit list.
ACPC will be the responsible authority for the counselling process of GUJCET 2018. The qualified candidates will have to register themselves for the counselling session. However, before registration, the candidates will have to pay the registration fee of Rs. 350 to purchase the information booklet and PIN at any designated bank branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank. The 14 digit PIN is important for the registration process. The candidates will have to fill the online application form to be registered for GUJCET 2018 counselling. All valid personal, examination and course details will have to be submitted by the candidates. Next, the candidates will have to submit the print out of the filled application form with other required documents at the nearest help centre.
After submission of the application form, the candidates will have to fill in their choices of college and course. The selection has to be as per the preference of the candidates. The option of removing, moving, adding and swapping choices will be provided to the candidates. Allotment of seats will be done as per the merit and preference of the candidates. After allotment, the selected candidates will have to pay the required tuition fees and report at the allotted institute.
GUJCET Seat Allotment 2018
Two rounds of GUJCET 2018 seat allotment will be held by ACPC. Following registrations, the candidates will have to fill their preferred options. The allotment of seats will be done according to the ranking of the candidates in the merit list, his/her preferred choices and availability of seats during GUJCET 2018 counselling. A mock round of seat allotment will be held after which the candidates will be able to make necessary changes. Those candidates who are not allotted seats in the first round will be eligible for the second round of seat allotment along with those candidates who have paid the tuition fees and opted for upgradation.
Allotted candidates will have to download their information letter along with the bank fee challan. Payment of the tuition fees has to be done. After payment, the candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats will have to report at the allotted institute for confirmation of admission.
