GUJCET 2018: ACPC has released the schedule for the third offline round of GUJCET 2018 Counselling. The candidates will have to report according to their ranks from July 27 to August 1, 2018. The second allotment of GUJCET 2018 Counselling was announced on July 16. The course-wise and institute-wise analysis of Round 2 was also released. Registrations for the counselling of GUJCET 2018 has ended. Candidates had to first obtain the PIN from the help centres and then fill the online application form. The final answer key of GUJCET 2018 was released by GSEB. GUJCET 2018 was conducted on April 23, 2018 in the offline mode. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is responsible for the online GUJCET counselling and seat allotment process. ACPC has also announced the dates for the counselling session. The online application form of GUJCET 2018 was available till April 7. Before filling the application form, the candidates had to pay the fee at the centres and obtain the User ID and password by April 6. Currently, there are over 112 participating engineering institutes in GUJCET 2018. The seats offered by these institutes will be available to those candidates who manage to qualify the entrance examination of GUJCET 2018.

The result for the second round of GUJCET 2018 seat allotment has been announced. Candidates will have to log into their account to check their allotment status. Two rounds of GUJCET 2018 seat allotment was held by ACPC. Following registrations, the candidates had to fill their preferred options. The allotment of seats is done according to the ranking of the candidates in the merit list, his/her preferred choices and availability of seats during GUJCET 2018 counselling. A mock round of seat allotment was held after which the candidates are required make necessary changes. Those candidates who are not allotted seats in the first round will be eligible for the second round of seat allotment along with those candidates who have paid the tuition fees and opted for upgradation.
Allotted candidates will have to download their information letter along with the bank fee challan. Payment of the tuition fees has to be done. After payment, the candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seats will have to report at the allotted institute for confirmation of admission.
Choice alteration for round 2 of GUJCET 2018 Counselling has ended. ACPC is the responsible authority for the counselling process of GUJCET 2018. Registrations for the counselling session has ended. Before registration, the candidates had to pay the registration fee of Rs. 350 to purchase the information booklet and PIN at any designated bank branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank. The 14 digit PIN was important for the registration process. The candidates had to fill the online application form to be registered for GUJCET 2018 counselling. All valid personal, examination and course details had to be submitted by the candidates. Next, the candidates had to submit the print out of the filled application form with other required documents at the nearest help centre.
After submission of the application form, the candidates had to fill in their choices of college and course. The selection had to be as per the preference of the candidates. The option of removing, moving, adding and swapping choices was provided to the candidates. Allotment of seats is done as per the merit and preference of the candidates. After allotment, the selected candidates will have to pay the required tuition fees and report at the allotted institute.
The final merit list of GUJCET 2018 has been released by ACPC. GUJCET 2018 merit list consists of the candidates who are eligible for the counselling and seat allotment process. The candidates can now access the merit list in online mode by submitting their Roll No/User ID and course. The provisional merit list was announced on June 13, 2018. 60% weightage is given to the candidate’s score in 10+2 (or equivalent) qualification and 40% weightage is given to the secured score of the candidate in GUJCET 2018 while preparing the merit list. The candidates are ranked as per their merit and will be called for the counselling session. The allotment of seats will be done as per the ranking of the candidates in the released GUJCET 2018 merit list.
The result of GUJCET 2018 has been declared by GSEB on May 10. The candidates will now be able to obtain the GUJCET 2018 result by submitting their six digit seat number. From the declared result, the candidates can obtain their subject wise obtained marks, total marks and ranking. Those candidates who manage to secure the required marks will be eligible for allotment of seats.

The final answer key of GUJCET 2018 has been released. In the final answer key, the correct answers of two questions (Question No. 40 of SET 3 and Questions No. 10 of SET 20) have been released. Provisional answer key of GUJCET 2018 was released on April 26. Candidates could check and compare their responses with the answers on GUJCET 2018 answer key. The probable scores of the candidates who attempted the entrance examination could be calculated by using the released answer key. The recorded responses of the candidates could be compared to the correct answers as per the GUJCET 2018 answer key. Official marking scheme had to be followed to calculate the scores. The provisional answer key of GUJCET 2018 could be challenged by the candidates till April 29 (5:00 pm). For each objection raised, the candidate had to pay Rs, 500 through challan to State Bank of India. Objection had to be emailed at [email protected] in the prescribed format provided by GSEB.
GSEB had published the admit card of GUJCET 2018 in online mode. The admit card was an important document that had to be produced at the examination centre. If the candidates were not able to bring the admit card, then he/she were not allowed to sit for the examination. GUJCET admit card 2018 consisted of the registration number of the candidate, examination centre, timing details and more. The offline admit card was also made available at some centres on April 16 (11 AM to 4 PM).
Steps to download GUJCET 2018 Admit Card

Before registering and filling out the application form of GUJCET 2018, the candidates had to pay the application fee at the designated help centres from March 23 to April 6. Only after the payment is done, the User ID was provided to the candidates which was required during registration. The online application form of GUJCET 2018 was available till April 7. The candidates were required to provide valid information while filling the online application form. The given steps had to be followed to successfully register themselves for GUJCET 2018.
Step 1 – Obtaining User ID: The candidates had to obtain a DD of Rs. 300 in favour of “Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar”. The fees had be deposited at any of the designated help centres after which the candidate were given their User ID.
Step 2 – Registration: Using the given User ID, the candidates had to register themselves for GUJCET 2018.
Step 3 – Filling the Application Form: The personal, exam, school and board of the candidates had to be filled in. All information submitted had to be according to the documents that are owned by the candidates.
Step 4 – Uploading of Documents: The photograph and signature of the candidates had to be scanned and uploaded as per the specifications required.
Step 5 – Submission of GUJCET 2018 Application Form: After reviewing all of the information submitted, the candidates were able to submit their application form. Following the submission, the application number was generated and sent to the registered email address of the applicant.
To be eligible for admissions, all candidates will be required to meet certain criteria which are set by the concerned authorities. Various eligibility criteria such as age, nationality, domicile, educational qualification and more have to be satisfied by the candidates. Ineligible candidates were not allowed to participate in the admission procedure.
The candidate should be of Indian nationality.
All candidates should be bonafide residents of Gujarat. Bonafide residents of Gujarat who are residing in other states of the country will also be eligible for GUJCET 2018.
Should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE, Delhi/CISCE, New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board.
Candidates who will be completing their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination in 2018 will also be eligible for admission.
- Minimum score of 45% has to be secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam. The reserved category candidates will have to score 40% marks.
