GUJCET 2017 - The Round 1 of seat allotment for GUJCET 2017 was announced on July 5, 2017. Candidates can check the seat allotment by logging into their module. The candidate must take a printout of the information letter and bank challan for confirmation of seat allotment. Payment of the required fees has to be done by July 12. The candidates will also be able to check the cutoff of GUJCET 2017. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses had already announced the final merit list of GUJCET 2017. The provisional merit list was released on June 17. Choice filling for mock counselling of GUJ CET 2017 ended on June 22, 2017 and the mock allotment statistics were released subsequently. GSEB declared the GUJCET Result 2017 in online mode for all candidates. It is essential for the candidates to qualify the examination to participate in the counselling session. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) opened the registrations for counselling session of GUJCET 2017 on June 1, 2017. The choice filling for first round commenced on June 27 and ended on July 2, 2017. The entrance examination for admissions into the B.Tech and B.E courses offered by the various engineering institutes of the state concluded as per the revised date on May 10. The paper for Physics and Chemistry was held from 10 am to 12 pm, Biology from 1 pm to 2 pm and Mathematics from 3 pm to 4 pm. Earlier, the entrance examination - GUJCET 2017 was earlier scheduled to be held on May 11, 2017. The exam was held for a duration of 3 hours. Admissions will be granted on the basis of the merit list composed of 60% weightage on marks obtained in 10+2 standard qualifying examinations and 40% weightage on marks obtained in GUJCET 2017. The application form of GUJCET 2017 is now over, which was available till April 16, 2017. A notification, which was released on December 1, 2016 stated that GUJCET 2017 will now be the gateway to admission into all engineering courses in Government, Grant in aid and self-financed institutes in the state for Government quota seats and Management quota. ACPC will be the responsible authority for the entire admission process whereas Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will be the exam conducting body. GUJCET Cutoff 2017
The cutoff of GUJCET 2017 for Round 1 has been published by the concerned authorities. The candidates will now be able to check the opening and closing ranks required to be allotted seats in the participating institutes. GUJCET 2017 cutoff has been released institute and course wise. The cutoff is deemed as the screening process for admissions. A variety of factors will be taken into consideration while preparing the cutoff of GUCET 2017.
GUJCET Result 2017
GSEB has declared the GUJCET 2017 Result. The candidates will now be able to check their result in online mode. The result consisted of the scores of the applicants secured in the examination along with their names and roll numbers. The applicants will have to log in with the required credentials and access their result. They can also download their GUJCET 2017 Marks sheet.

GUJCET Merit List 2017
The final merit list of GUJCET 2017 was published for all candidates in online mode. The candidates had to login with their User ID to access the merit list. The admission committee prepared the merit list based on 60 percentile weightage over the applicantâs score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 (or equivalent) examination and 40 percentile weightage over GUJCET 2017 examination. Based on their merit, the applicants were ranked in the merit list. Allotment of seats is being done on the basis of their rankings in the merit list. The provisional merit list was published on June 17.
GUJCET Counselling 2017
All selected applicants, whose names have been listed in the merit list had to register themselves online for the counselling session which began from June 1, 2017. Before registering themselves, the candidates had to pay the counselling fees at one of the listed banks and obtain the PIN. GUJCET Counselling 2017 is being conducted in online mode. The applicants are required to select their preference of colleges and courses online from June 27, 2017. The allotment of seats is being done on the basis of the merit, category of the applicant and availability of seats during counselling. After the applicants are successfully allotted, the allotment list will be published online. The applicants have to print out the information letter. The tuition fees have to be paid by the applicants to confirm the allotment. After being successfully allotted, the applicants have to submit the self-attested copies of the following documents along with the printout of the registration form at the Help Centre:

GUJCET Admit Card 2017
GUJCET 2017 Admit card was released by the admission committee on May 5, 2017. Candidates could download the admit card for GUJCET online or were able to get it through the post. All information regarding the examination day i.e., exam centre, date, timings and more are detailed in the admit card of GUJCET 2017. It is important for all applicants to keep the admit card with them safely. Failure to show the admit card during the exam day could lead to the disqualification of the applicant. Candidates could download the GUJCET admit card 2017 till May 10 - the day of the exam.
GUJCET Eligibility Criteria 2017
The applicants were required to meet some eligibility criteria while applying for admissions under GUJCET 2017. Qualifications related to the age, education and more of the applicant has to be satisfied otherwise he/she will be disqualified from the admission process.
Nationality: The applicant should be of Indian nationality.
Domicile: Should be a bonafide resident of Gujarat. Even those applicants who are bonafide residents of Gujarat but are residing in other states of the country, defense/central Government applicants are also eligible to apply for GUJCET 2017.
Academic Qualifications: The applicants should have qualified their 10+2 examination from the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE, Delhi/CISCE, New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. If the applicants will complete their 10+2 examination in 2017, then these applicants are also eligible to apply.
Required Marks: To be eligible for admissions, the applicants will have to score a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination. Reserved category applicants will have to secure 40% marks.

GUJCET Application Form 2017
GUJCET 2017 application form opened on March 30, 2017. Candidates were required to pay Rs 300 as application fee via DD and submit it at the designated help centres to get their USER ID . They had to use this to register and fill their GUJCET online Application Form. All applicants who wish to pursue education in the engineering institutes under GUJCET 2017 were required to fill and submit the application form. Failure to submit the application form within the specified time would lead to the disqualification of the applicant from the admission procedure. The last date to fill the online application form was April 16, 2017. The applicants were allowed to submit the application form by April 25, 2017 with late fees. The applicants had to first register themselves. After registering themselves, the applicants had to enter their personal, academic and contact information. The exam centre was to be selected by the applicants. Uploading of their scanned photograph and signature also had to be done properly. Print out of the application form has to be taken. The applicants who reside outside Gujarat and have completed their 10+2 examination from outside the state had to submit the filled application form print out with the following documents at the given address:

The admission process for GUJCET 2017 is being conducted online by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). In order to guide the aspiring candidates and their parents properly and to provide the relevant information for online admission process, ACPC has organised various Awareness Seminars as per the following schedule. The awareness seminars to educate the candidates and their parents about the counselling and admission procedure started from April 3 and closed on May 21, 2017. In case of Special provisions in certain Institutes/Universities, 50% of the seats in Degree Engineering will be filled through the GUJCET 2017 result after the merit list is calculated. The remaining 50% seats, which are to be filled under All India basis will be done through the results of JEE Main 2017. It is also to be noted that the applicants who wish to get admission into the centrally funded institutes such as IITs, NITs, IIITs and other such institutes of the state will have to qualify JEE Main 2017 examination.

GUJCET 2017 has been reintroduced by ACPC as the entrance examination for admissions into the engineering institutes of Gujarat. The examination of GUJCET 2017 consisted of three subjects â Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. The admission committee had suggested that the applicants study the basics of 10+2 (or equivalent) examination for the preparation of the entrance examination.
