GUJCET 2019 – Admissions into the B.Tech/B.E. courses offered by the participating colleges of Gujarat will be done through GUJCET 2019. There will be two conducting authorities for GUJCET 2019 – all of the examination related events will be conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) whereas the counselling and admission process will be checked by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Registrations for GUJCET 2019 will be open tentatively in the third week of March till the first week of April. Before registrations, the candidates will have to obtain the user ID after paying the fee. Those candidates who complete their GUJCET registration process will be able to download their admit card tentatively from the third week of April 2019. GUJCET 2019 will be conducted tentatively in the fourth week of April. The counselling process of GUJCET 2019 will commence after the merit list is announced. GUJCET Eligibility Criteria 2019

The eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2019 states certain requirements that the candidates have to meet to be eligible for the examination. Those candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be allowed to participate in the admission process. Therefore, it is advised that the candidates check the criteria before applying for GUJCET 2019.

  • Nationality – The candidates should be of Indian nationality.

  • State Eligibility – Should be bonafide residents of Gujarat. Candidates who are bonafide residents of Gujarat but are residing in other states of the country will also be considered eligible for the examination.

  • Academic Qualification – The candidates should have qualified 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. If the candidates will be completing their 10+2 examination in 2019, they will still be termed eligible for GUJCET.

  • Qualifying Marks – In the qualifying examination, the candidates are expected to score minimum 45%. Meanwhile, the reserved category candidates will have to secure 40% marks.

GUJCET 2019 Reservation of Seats

Candidates who belong to the special categories will be able to apply for the reserved seats. Under every category, there are a certain percentage of seats reserved for the candidates and if the candidates meet the requirements then they will be eligible for these seats.

GUJCET Application Form 2019

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will be releasing the online application form of GUJCET 2019 tentatively in the third week of March. While filling the application form, the candidates will have to submit their personal, academic and contact information. However, before filling the online application form, the candidates will have to visit the designated help centres and pay the application fee to access the User ID. Without completing this step, the candidates will not be able to fill the online GUJCET 2019 application form. The final date to submit the application form will be tentatively in the first week of April.

 

Steps to fill GUJCET Application Form 2019

Step 1 – Visiting Help Centres for Payment of Fees: For the first step, the candidates will have to pay the application fee at the designated help centres. Payment has to be done through a demand draft of Rs 300 in favour of “Secretary, Gujarat Common Entrance Test Cell, Gandhinagar”. After depositing the fee, the user ID will be provided to the candidates.

Step 2 – Registration: Next, the candidates will have to register for the examination using the allotted User ID.

Step 3 - Filling the Application Form: Information regarding the candidates’ personal, academic and contact details have to be provided by the candidates. The information submitted has to be valid.

Step 4 – Document Uploading: Scanned photograph and signature of the candidates has to be uploaded in the application form as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.

Step 5 – Submission of Filled Application Form: Finally, the candidates are advised to review all of the information that they have provided before submitting the application form. After submission, the application number will be generated and sent to the registered email id of the candidates.

 

GUJCET 2019 Exam Centres

While filling the application form, the candidates will also have to select their preferred exam centres of GUJCET 2019. The list of cities where the examination will be conducted will be made available through which the candidates will have to select their preferred choices.

GUJCET Exam Pattern 2019

Through the exam pattern of GUJCET 2019, the candidates will be able to know details about how the examination will be conducted and the related information such as type of questions asked, marking scheme and more. GUJCET Sample Papers 2019

Another method to prepare for the examination is to use the sample papers of GUJCET 2019. Candidates can refer to the sample papers which will consist of mainly the previous year question papers to practice for the upcoming GUJCET 2019 examination. By using the sample papers, the candidates will be able to know the pattern and the nature of questions asked. Practicing using the sample papers can also help the candidates to boost their time management skills.

 

GUJCET Admit Card 2019

The admit card of GUJCET 2019 will be released by GSEB tentatively in the third week of April. Registered candidates will be able to access their admit card in online mode. It is important for the candidates to keep their admit card safely since it will be required at the examination centre. Without the admit card, the candidates will not be allowed to participate in the examination. Details such as the timings and venue of the examination along with some personal details will be present in GUJCET admit card 2019.

 

Steps to download GUJCET 2019 Admit Card

  • Candidates will have to enter their application number or name

  • Click on Submit

  • The admit card will be displayed on the screen. After checking for discrepancies, the candidates can download and print out the admit card for further use.

GUJCET Answer Key 2019

The provisional answer key of GUJCET 2019 will be released tentatively in the fourth week of April. Correct answers to all the questions asked in the examination will be present in the answer key. Using the GUJCET 2019 answer key, the candidates will be able to calculate their scores before the results are announced. Candidates will also be able to raise objections and the final answer key will be published tentatively in the first week of May 2019. 

 

GUJCET Result 2019

Candidates will be able to access their GUJCET result 2019 in online mode tentatively in the second week of May. The result will consists of the scores secured by the candidates in the examination along with their ranks. GSEB will be releasing the result of GUJCET 2019.

 

How to check GUJCET 2019 Result?

  • The candidates will have to enter their six-digit number

  • Click on “Go”

  • The result will be displayed on the screen which the candidates will have to check and print out for future use.

GUJCET 2019 Merit List

The merit list of GUJCET 2019 will be released by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) tentatively in the third week of June. While preparing the merit list, 60% weightage will be given to the candidate’s score in 10+2th (or equivalent) examination and 40% weightage will be given to GUJCET scores. The candidates will be ranked according to their merit for the counselling session. To access the merit list, the candidates will have to log in using their roll number/user id and course.

 

GUJCET Cutoff 2019

The minimum marks required to have higher chances of admission into the participating institutes will constitute the cutoff of GUJCET 2019. It acts as a screening process for admissions. While preparing the cutoff, many factors related to the examination will be considered by the authorities concerned. The cutoff will vary according to the category, college and course selected by the authorities.

 

GUJCET Counselling 2019

ACPC will be responsible for the counselling and admission process of GUJCET 2019. Before the registration for counselling, the candidates will have to visit the designated branches of Kotak Mahindra Bank to purchase the information booklet and 14 digit PIN number. Payment of registration fee of Rs. 350 also has to be done. After accessing the 14 digit PIN number, the candidates will have to fill the application form for counselling and submit it. The submitted application form has to be printed out and taken along with other documents for verification at help centres. Choice filling has to be done in online mode. Candidates will be allotted seats as per their merit, preference and availability of seat.

 

GUJCET Seat Allotment 2019

Candidates will be allotted seats in online mode through GUJCET seat allotment 2019. ACPC will release the result of allotment in online mode. Allotment of candidates will be done according to their ranking in the merit list, preference of colleges and courses and availability of seat. A mock round will also be conducted so that the candidates understand how the allotment works and can make necessary changes before the real allotment. All of the allotted candidates will have to confirm their allotment and pay their tuition fee. Reporting at the allotted institute also has to be done by the candidates. Allotted candidates can also opt for upgradation.
