JEE Main 2024 updated syllabus as per NTA
GATE Cutoff 2024 - IISc Bangalore has released the GATE 2024 cutoff online at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The authority released the cutoff of GATE 2024 along with the results. The GATE 2024 results have been declared on March 16, 2024. GATE cutoff marks are the minimum marks candidates must obtain to qualify for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. A separate GATE cutoff is released for each paper. Candidates can check the qualifying marks of GATE 2024 on this page. GATE 2024 was held on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024.

The GATE cutoff for IIT is different for each category. Candidates who score more marks than the GATE passing marks will be eligible for admission to the M.Tech courses offered by the participating institutes of the GATE 2024. The exam conducting authority considers several factors to deduce the final GATE cut off marks. Below is the list of factors that determine the GATE exam cut off marks
GATE cutoff marks for IIT and NIT are released in the form of opening and closing ranks. After the declaration of GATE results, IITs and NITs will start the MTech admission process separately. After the application and interview, institutes will release the GATE opening and closing rank.

If we see the GATE cutoff for the year 2021 and 2020; the cutoffs for most of the subjects were decreased from the previous year. For example, the GATE cutoff for CSE was 28.5 in 2020 while it decreased to 26.1 in 2021. Seeing the trend, Candidates can predict the GATE cse 2023 expected cutoff.
The analysis given below depicts the changes in the qualifying GATE Cutoff 2020 vs 2019. While the official GATE result statistics have announced that only 18.8% of candidates have qualified in the exam. There have been many surprises in the GATE cutoffs with many showing a drastic lowering and some showing an increase. Only Mathematics has shown no changes in the GATE cutoff.
