GATE 2024: IISc Bangalore has released the GATE mock test series link online at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The authorities have now concluded the GATE 2024 application form correction process. The last date for making any modifications to the GATE application forms was November 24. The correction window for modification of GATE 2024 application forms opened on November 20. Moreover, the last date to add a second paper (at a regular fee) or change the second paper (without any fee) was November 17. Candidates can check the GATE exam date online. The authority will conduct the GATE 2024 entrance exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024, for 30 papers for admission to the MTech program offered at IITs. Furthermore, NMDC Limited will recruit for Executive Trainee (Tech.) through the GATE exam.
The GATE application 2024 was available online without a late fee from August 31 to October 12. However, candidates were allowed to submit the GATE application form with a late fee till October 20. The registration link was available at goaps.iisc.ac.in. Candidates had to fulfil the eligibility conditions before applying for the GATE 2024 exam.

Candidates who wish to appear for the exam need to fulfil the GATE 2024 eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of GATE 2024 comprise education qualification, age, domicile, and much more. IISc Bangalore concluded the GATE exam 2024 registration process. The eligible candidates were allowed to fill out the GATE exam form 2024. The authority announced the GATE 2024 registration date online at the official website. Candidates can check the last date for GATE 2024 registration online at the official website. While filling out the GATE exam registration form, aspirants had to ensure that the name of the candidate in the GATE 2024 registration is the same as that in the valid photo ID, which the candidate must produce in original while appearing for the GATE exam at the centre. No application form is accepted after the GATE 2024 last date to apply. Candidates can check the GATE exam registration details online.
First of all complete the GATE 2024 registration. Candidates have to register for the GATE exam through the GOAPS 2024 portal. The GATE 2024 registration will include details like the Candidate’s first, middle name, and surname, valid email id, country of residence, Mobile Number, and password. After adding the details, candidates have to enter the OTP received on the mobile number and registered Email ID. A unique enrollment ID will be allotted to the successfully registered candidates.
Once registered, candidates have to complete the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 application form with details like Personal details, Academic details, communication details, a paper appearing for, exam centre details, photo id proof, signature, and category certificate (for reserved categories).
Next, upload scanned images of photos, signatures, and other documents as per the specification.
Finally, candidates have to pay the GATE application fee in online mode.

The GATE 2024 application form correction process concluded on November 24. The authorities opened the correction window of GATE application form 2024 on November 20. The GATE application form correction 2024 allowed candidates to edit the incorrect details entered by them while filling out the forms. For this, students had to pay a fee. Also, candidates were not allowed to edit each and every detail.

Along with the declaration of the IISc Banglore GATE 2024 result, the authorities will also release the subject-wise cutoff. Only those candidates who will meet the cutoff will be declared qualified. The GATE cutoff 2024 is yet to be released. In the meantime, candidates can check the previous year’s GATE cutoff.
Candidates who will be declared qualified will have to use GATE COAP and CCMT portals for counselling purposes. The GATE counselling 2024 and admission process for IITs are done through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP), while, for admissions into NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and IIITs & GFTIs, Centralised Counselling for M.Tech. (CCMT) is conducted.
Common Offer Acceptance Portal, also known as COAP is a portal that provides a common platform for candidates who wish to get admission to the M.Tech programs in the participating institutes or job offers from participating public sector unit (PSUs). Candidates having valid GATE scores 2024 need to register at COAP and at the institute's portal for admission. All the participating IITs and IISc Bangalore will publish seat allotment results at the COAP portal. Using the COAP portal 2024, candidates will have to check their seat allotment status and accept/ reject the seat.
The full form of CCMT is Centralized Counselling for M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan Admission. The admission to the M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan programmes offered at all NITs, IIEST Shibpur, some IIITs, and CFITs is done through the CCMT portal. Candidates having valid GATE scores need to register at the CCMT portal. The authority releases the seat allotment result at the CCMT portal.
Candidates who qualify the GATE exam will be eligible for admission to the IITs, NITs, IIEST Shibpur, some IIITs, CFITs, and the institutes accepting the GATE score. Applicants have to register at COAP for IIT M.Tech admission and CCMT for NIT, some IIITs, CFITs M.Tech admission. Candidates need to complete the registration process at CCMT and COAP portal.
