DU B.Tech 2020 - The University of Delhi has commenced the application process for DU B.Tech 2020 on June 20. Candidates can now apply for the entrance examination till July 31, 2020. The applications are open for admission into Information Technology and Mathematical Innovation (ITMI) through Cluster Innovation Centre. The authorities have postponed DU B.Tech 2020 till further notice. The postponement has been done because of COVID-19. Admissions through DU B.Tech 2020 will be conducted on the basis of a common entrance test for undergraduate courses in the name of Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). The National Testing Agency (NTA) is the conducting body for DUET 2020. The entrance exam will be conducted for 2 hours and the result will be declared. This will lead to the declaration of a merit list which will be the base for DU B.Tech 2020. The authorities will release the cutoff of DU B.Tech 2020 and the eligible candidates will have to attend the counselling process. The authorities have commenced registrations for DUET, including those of DU B.Tech 2020 admission in online mode. Candidates can now duly register and submit the application form before last date. The following steps need to be followed to fill DU B.Tech application form:
Step 1- Registration: Candidates will be required to create a login ID by registering at the official portal. They will have to submit their name, valid email address, security question and it’s answer, create a password and enter the captcha code. Click on ‘Submit’ when all the requisite details are entered which will lead to registration details which should be duly noted.
Step 2- Filing Application Form: After registering on the official portal, candidates will have to login using their registered email ID and password. The DU B.Tech 2020 application form requires candidates to provide the following details:
Candidate’s bank details
Mode of admission (Whether going through merit based on entrance based DU B.Tech admission 2020)
Sports details, if applicable (One candidate can apply for a maximum of 3 games or sports)
Click on ‘Submit’ once the complete details are uploaded.
Step 3- Document Upload: There will be requisite documents to be uploaded by candidates for verification purposes during DU B.Tech application as listed below:

Step 4- Preview Application: Before proceeding with the payment of application fee, candidates are advised to carefully cross check the details provided in DU B.Tech 2020 application form. If any of the details shared are wrong, one should definitely rectify before proceeding further as the contrary might lead to cancellation of DU B.Tech admission.
Step 5- Application Fee: In order to complete the application process, candidates will be required to pay the DU B.Tech 2020 application fee according to the category they fall under.

DU B.Tech Admit Card 2020
NTA will release the admit card for DU B.Tech entrance exam in online mode. Candidates will have to login using their registered email ID (which shall serve as the username) and password on NTA website. Now download the DU B.Tech admit card with the help of link provided and take a print of the same. Candidates will mandatorily be required to carry this admit card to the examination hall on the day of exam.

DU B.Tech 2020: Selection Criteria
The selection process of DU B.Tech 2020 admission shall be based on the merit list released by the authorities along with DUET result declaration. So, after this, the University of Delhi will release cutoffs for various courses including DU B.Tech 2020 according to which, candidates may be called up for interview session. This will be followed by document verification wherein, candidates will have to show all the relevant documents (including those of educational qualification, etc.) in original. Then, the candidates will be admitted into DU B.Tech 2020 after the candidates pay complete admission fee.
Reservation of Seats for DU B.Tech Admission
The following criteria is followed by authorities for distribution of seats based on reservation policies.
SC/ ST - A total of 22.5% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (SC and ST). Out of this, 15% seats are reserved for SC students and 7.5% seats for students of ST category which is applicable interchangeably, if required. The candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories shall also have 5% relaxation in pass marks as compared to unreserved category.
OBC - Candidates belonging to the other backward classes (OBC) falling under non-creamy layer as per the central list, will get 27% reservation of seats. OBC candidates shall be given a relaxation of upto 10% in eligibility marks for DU B.Tech admission.
EWS - Those who belong to economically weaker sections (EWS) of the society shall have 10% of seats reserved.
PwD - Candidates seeking DU B.Tech 2020 admission and fall under the category of persons with disabilities (PwD) shall have 5% of seats reserved. PwD candidates are given a relaxation of 5% for eligibility marks.
CW - The University of Delhi has reserved course wise 5% seats in all colleges for children or widows (CW) of personnel of Armed Forces. Such candidates shall also have relaxation of 5% in the respective eligibility in DU B.Tech 2020.
KM - Upto 5% of seats of B.Tech at DU are reserved for the wards (sons and daughters) of Kashmiri Migrants (KM).

In your post graduation application form you have to fill the form in the format prescribed in the guidelines of that the particular university. It varies from university to university. You will have the name blocks or columns accordingly. Just follow the steps written in the brochure of your university that you want to pursue your post graduation from.
Do I have to write DU ET(DELHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST) to get into St. Stephens?
St. Stephen's College is situated in New Delhi. It offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees at the Undergraduate level. Admissions to both are based on the candidates' 10+2 marks, followed by an Aptitude Test and Personal Interview conducted by the college.
Is Delhi University entrance test DUET Compulory if I want to apply to any college under D U for an Arts (Social Sciences) undergraduate?
Yes,delhi university entrance test is mandatory if you want to admission in arts, BA ( social science) undergraduation..however it is not mandatory for all the courses..mostly courses are on merit based selection but for some undergraduate and pg courses like ba ( social science),ba ( multimedia) , ba (economics) etc.

i scored 170 out of 400 in duet ba hons humanities and social science. and i have 85 percent (best of 4 ) in 12th can i get addmission ?
You have performed well in your class Eligibility is to have passed xii board with minimum 60% in class xii.
Your admission to DU depends upon your performance in DUET, though 170 /400 is bit less score to get seat in DU. As cut off for BA hons in Delhi University is very high in top colleges like Hansraj college, Ramjas college, hindu College etc but you may try in other colleges of Delhi University.
