DAIICT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2017 details the minimum educational qualification, marks scored and the subjects which the candidates must have in their 10+2 level. The eligibility criteria for DAIICT B. Tech Admission also include the minimum age limit of the candidates. The DAIICT B.Tech admission for 50% of the All India Quota seats is through the JEE Main 2017 where candidates should have cleared the JEE Main 2017 exam in addition to the prescribed eligibility parameters. rest 50% seats are filled directly by DAIICT for candidates who have passed class 12th/qualifying exam from schools located in Gujarat. Those candidates who are appearing for their Class XII exams are also eligible for admission at DAIICT. Before applying for admission to the bachelor of technology courses at DAIICT, candidates must ensure that they meet all the DAIICT B. Tech 2017 Eligibility Criteria. Candidates must remember that those who are appearing in the qualifying exam will be awarded a provisional admission and their candidature is likely to be cancelled if they fail to provide proof of their have cleared the exam by a stipulated date. DAIICT University will offer 50% of the seats to Gujarat domiciled students who have studied in schools in Gujarat. DAIICT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2017
(i) Candidates are required to clear their 10+2 exam from a recognised state or central board such as Central Board of Secondary Education or the Indian School Certificate Examinations.
(ii)Candidates must have passed their pre-university exam which is organized by a recognised board or university or should have completed their intermediate
(iii)Candidate must have passed his Senior Secondary School Examination which is conducted by National Institute of Open Schooling and should have had a minimum of five subjects.
(iv) Candidates who have studied in any of the public school, university or board in India or abroad which is recognised as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
(v) Those candidates who have done their diploma which is accorded recognition by AICTE or a state Board of Technical Education. The course should be of at least three years.
(vi)Candidates must have cleared the H.S.C vocational exam.
(vii)Candidates who have passed the General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London / Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
(viii) Candidates who have cleared the High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
Subjects in the qualifying exam
(i)It is mandatory for candidates to have Mathematics and Physics in their 10+2.
(ii) Candidates are required to have one of the below given subjects:
(i) Candidates who are born on and after October 01, 1992 are eligible for admission
(ii) Candidates must remember that the age mentioned in their 10th and 12 th certificate will be considered as authentic
(i) Candidates who are appearing for JEE Main 2017 are eligible to apply for admission to 50% of the seats at DAIICT
(ii) Candidates from Gujarat applying for the 50% of the seats reserved for them have to pass class 12th/equivalent qualifying exam from the state of Gujarat.
Domicile of Gujarat
(i)Candidates who have passed the qualifying exams from the schools that are located in Gujarat, 50% of the seats will be reserved for them
All India Category
(i)The seats which are left vacant i.e 50 % of them will be filled by DAIICT directly.
(ii)Candidates belonging to SC and ST will be admitted under the All India category. There will be some relaxation for SC and ST candidate as compared to those belonging to general category
Note: At the time of the counselling, candidates will have to furnish all the requisite original documents. These documents will be verified and then only candidates will be awarded admission to either of the two B.Tech programmes at DAIICT.
The seats which are reserved for SC and ST, if they remain vacant, then these seats will be transferred to the general category. Meanwhile, for candidates falling under the Gujarat Category, ACPC will draw its own policy.The DAIICT has the sole right to change the admission policy, the number of seats, eligibility and procedures etc. for All India Category without any prior Notice.
