CUCET Participating Institutes 2017 - The participating institutes of CUCET 2017 are ten central universities that jointly conduct CUCET 2017 under the leadership of Central University of Rajasthan. Apart from the Central University of Rajasthan, the other CUSAT 2017 participating institutes are the Central University of Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Rajasthan, Punjab, South Bihar and Tamil Nadu. However, only seven of the participating universities of CUCET 2017 offer M.Tech programmes. The candidate can find the name of these seven participating institutes of CUCET, along with the course offered by them and the number of sanctioned seats for the courses below. This will give the candidate a better understanding of the admission process and help him/her take informed decisions. CUCET 2017 is slated to be held on May 17 and 18, 2017.

GATE qualified candidates are exempted from appearing in CUCET 2017 and are eligible for direct admission. Also, GATE candidates will get preference over non-GATE candidates during counselling. It must be noted that there will be no centralised counselling conducted by CUCET authorities; participating universities will hold individual counselling sessions
CUCET Exam Pattern 2017
CUCET 2017 is divided into Part A and Part B, and will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
25 questions are asked from Part A. Questions are based on: Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytic skills
Part B asks questions domain-related questions and comprises 75 MCQs. This part can include up to three or more individual sections.
The candidate will be awarded 3 marks for correct answer, while for incorrect response 1 mark will be deducted.
The test will be of two hours duration.
CUCET 2017 Admit Card
The admit card of CUCET 2017 will be issued by the admission authority of the entrance exam on May 5, 2017. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards by entering the CUCET application number and password. Before downloading the admit card, the candidate must check that the information displayed on it are correct and the photo and signature are easily identifiable. In case of any discrepancy the candidate needs to contact the admission authority without delay. Also, the admit card of CUCET 2017 isn’t simply required to take the entrance exam, but is required till the end of the admission process. Even during counselling, the candidate will be allowed inside the hall only upon display of the admit card.
CUCET 2017 Counselling
Counselling of CUCET 2017 for allotment of M.Tech seats in participating institutes of CUCET 2017 will be conducted after declartion of CUCET 2017. Results of the entrance examination will be declared on June 7, 2017.
Each of the participating institutes of CUCET 2017 will conduct counselling separately
The candidate needs to attend the counselling session of the university he/she has applied for admission
M.Tech seats will alloted based on the marks obtained by the candidate in CUCET 2017.
Seats will only be confirmed upon verification of documents.
