CUCET Engineering 2018 - Central University of Rajasthan has released the seat allotment of round-5 for M.Tech courses. The merit list for the B.Tech courses have also been released by the Central University of Haryana. Candidates can check respective allotment lists before proceeding to log-in on this page. Only allotted candidates are eligible for log-in to complete the admission process. The University started the registration process for CUCET 2018 counselling process for Central University of Rajasthan and Central University of Haryana on June 2.
The result of CUCET 2018 was declared on May 25. Candidates could access their result by submitting their roll number and date of birth. CUCET Engineering 2018 was conducted on April 28 & 29. CUCET Engineering was conducted in offline mode. The final answer key of CUCET 2018 was released on May 9. Candidates may note that there is no common counselling for CUCET Engineering 2018. A total of ten Central Universities along with Bengaluru Dr. B R Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE) is participating in CUCET Engineering 2018. Eight universities are offering M.Tech programmes in various disciplines while two universities are offering B.Tech programmes on the basis of CUCET Engineering. Candidates may note that GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance exam and are eligible to apply directly for admissions to the universities when the applications for the same are announced.

There is no common counselling of CUCET Engineering. Candidates may note that each individual university will announce their own admission list and guidelines.
- Each university will call for applications. Candidates must check them regularly to avoid missing any deadlines.

CUCET Engineering 2018 Allotment List
Provisional Allotment of Central University of Haryana and Central University of Rajasthan
The result of CUCET Engineering 2018 has been announced. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can log in and download their result to know if they have qualified in the entrance test and are eligible for admissions at the various participating institutes of CUCET Engineering. To access the result, candidates must enter their CUCET 2018 roll number and date of birth. The scores they have obtained in the test along with the status of their qualifying the exam is available through the CUCET Engineering 2018 result. Admissions will be on the basis of the result of CUCET Engineering 2018.
The exam authorities had released the answer key of CUCET Engineering 2018 on April 30. All candidates who had appeared for the exam could check the given answer key and compare it with their own answers. If they find objections to any of the answers, they had to challenge the CUCET Engineering 2018 answer key by May 4. After considering all objections and challenges, the authorities published the final answer key on May 9, 2018.

The application form was available till April 2, 2018 in the online mode. Applicants were requested to check the eligibility before applying for the entrance test. Candidates had to register and fill the academic, address and personal details. They also had to upload images as per specifications and download the E-Challan for payment. The application fees for downloaded E-Challans could be paid till March 27, 2018. The details are given below.
Steps to fill the application form of CUCET Engineering 2018
Candidates had to click on the given link and follow the steps given below:
1. Register online using a valid Email ID, Mobile No. and Name.
2. Upon successful Registration, candidates received a confirmation message as SMs and to their registered email ID. Candidates also received a unique CUCET Engineering 2018 Application Number and Password through email and SMS.
3. They had to log in using this application number and password; fill their academic, personal and address details. They also had to choose one exam centre from the given list.
4. Uploading Images – Candidates had to upload their photograph with dimensions of 200 x 230 pixels and file size between 10kb to 50 kb while the signature had to be on a white paper with black ink only with dimensions of 140 x 60 pixels and a file size between 10 KB to 50 KB.
5. Pay the Application Fee – Candidates had to pay online by Debit card or Credit card by April 2, 2018. Candidates paying through E-Challan had to download the E-challan by April 2 and pay the fees.

Registered candidates were able to edit their application form till April 4, 2018. The candidates had to log into their accounts to make the corrections.

Section A- 25 questions based on Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytic skills
Part B - 75 MCQs on the chosen specialization/ discipline for M.Tech programmes. For B.Tech programmes, this will be in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology. Section B may be made up of up to five individual sections, with each section having 25 questions. A candidate is required to choose any three sections.
For each correct answer 3 marks will be awarded, while 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong attempt
CUCET Engineering Syllabus 2018
Central University of Rajasthan had announced the syllabus for CUCET Engineering 2018 for each programme soon. The CUCET Engineering 2018 syllabus was available for UG, PG and PhD programmes. Candidates had to check the programmes and download the prescribed syllabus as soon as CURAJ announced it. Central University of Rajasthan announced the sample paper for each programme to enable candidates to practice and prepare well for the exam. The sample papers were a simulation of the actual test and candidates could get an idea of the exam pattern as well as the type of questions that might have been asked in the test.
Candidates who had successfully applied for CUCET Engineering were able to download their admit cards by entering their CUCET Engineering application Number and date of birth. After downloading the same, candidates had to check the details mentioned on the same for any discrepancy.
