With approximately 20,000 seats, Electronics & Communication Engineering is the branch having maximum capacity in the state, closely followed by Computer Science Engineering which has around 17,000 seats and Mechanical Engineering which also has close to 17,000 seats. Other notable branches are Civil Engineering (10,000 odd seats) and Information Technology (approx. 9,000 seats).
