Ans: General category candidates should have secured 45% aggregate marks, while reserved category candidates should have secured 40% aggregate marks in in class 12th/2nd PUC or equivalent examination recognized by State/ Central Government with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects. The fifth optional subject can be anyone of these – Chemistry/ Bio Technology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics. The candidates should also have passed Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics individually. The last 2 years of study of the qualifying exam should comprise of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
