CEED Application Form 2018 – The application form of CEED 2018 was released by IIT Bombay on October 9, 2017. The last date for filling the CEED 2018 application form with regular fee was November 12, 2017. Candidates could fill CEED application form 2018 with late fee till November 17. Female/ SC/ ST/ PwD candidates had to pay Rs 1100 as application fee, while all other candidates were required to pay Rs 2200. It was important to note that this fee was non-refundable and non-transferrable. CEED 2018 application form was available in online mode wherein the candidates had to fill in their personal and academic details. Those candidates who were not able to fill in CEED application form 2018 within the time frame of regular fee could fill the application with late fee of Rs. 500. For submitting the CEED application form 2018, the candidates had to remit the application or exam fee via online mode – net banking/ debit card/ credit card. Note: Before filling the application form, all candidates must thoroughly check the CEED eligibility criteria 2018. If the exam conducting authorities find that any candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria, then the candidate of the candidate will be cancelled at any stage of the exam or admission procedure.

Prerequisites of CEED Application Form 2018
Before filling the CEED 2018 application form, the candidates must keep the following documents and certificates ready with them in the prescribed format,
Candidate’s photograph in jpg format
Candidate’s signature in jpg format
Scanned copy of degree / diploma certificate (.pdf file) if the course is completed. If candidate does not have the final degree certificate, the copy of the final year mark list or the provisional certificate can be uploaded. If the course is not completed, a certificate from the Principal of the college/ Head of the department (Appendix 1) (.pdf file). has to be uploaded.
Medical certificate in pdf format (for candidates claiming PwD status)
- PwD candidate requiring extra time during the exam need to upload a request letter (.pdf file)
Cast certificate in pdf format (for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates only)
- Candidates whose name is not same as the name on the degree / diploma certificate will have to produce a gazette notification, a marriage certificate or scanned pages of the passport showing the change of name (.pdf file).

How to fill CEED 2018 Application Form
While opting to fill the application form of CEED 2018, the candidates had to complete all the following stages which will ensure that the application form is successfully accepted.
Step 1 – Online Registration
First of all, the aspiring candidates had to register themselves using the new user tab in the online registration portal of IIT Bombay. In order to CEED registration 2018, the candidates were required to enter a valid email ID. After verification, the candidates were sent verification information on the registered email ID.
Step 2 - Filling the form details
Candidates needed to fill the following details while filling the CEED application form 2018.

Password (it should include 8 characters with 1 number and a special character including *[[email protected]#$%^&*])
Step 3 – Qualifying exam details
Candidates had to provide their qualifying exam details here like name of the exam, year of passing, mobile number and mobile verification.
Step 4 - Login
Candidates were required to log in using their registered email ID and password. Further they had to carefully check all the eligibility criteria of CEED 2018 and fill the CEED 2018 application form for the entrance test.
Click on the mobile verification link and candidates were sent an OTP for verification of the registered mobile number. After log in, they had to start filling the application form by entering the OTP sent on their registered number and enter the following details,
Name ( The name will appear on admit card and score card)

Email ID (registered will be auto filled)

After filling all the information, click on "Save".
The filled registration form will appear. After checking all the information, candidates need to "Confirm" it.
Step 5 – Document uploading
In this step, the candidates had to upload their documents online in the prescribed format. Check the list of documents to be uploaded below,
Your recent color photograph (.jpg file) with full frontal view, with head centred in the frame covering 70-80% of the photograph and taken within last six months. The photopgraph must allow unambiguous identification of the candidate.

Scanned copy of degree/ diploma certificate (pdf format) if the course is completed in 2017. If the candidates do not have the final degree certificate, then they have to upload provisional certificate or mark sheet. A certificate from the principal of the college/ head of the department has to be uploaded in case the candidate is appearing in 2018. (Format for this certificate can be taken from the official website of CEED)
SC/ ST/ OBC NCL category candidates had to upload valid category certificates (pdf file) issued by appropriate authorities. OBC-NCL certificates issued only from April 1, 2017 onwards were accepted. (Format for this certificate could be taken from the official website of CEED)
PwD category candidates had to upload a valid medical certificate (pdf file) issued by appropriate authority. (Format for this certificate could be taken from the official website of CEED)
Candidates whose name was not same as the name on the degree/ diploma certificate, then such candidates had to upload a gazette notification, a marriage certificate or scanned pages of the passport reflecting the change of name (pdf file).
- Candidates with Dyslexia had to produce their medical certificate. (Format for this certificate could be taken from the official website of CEED)

Important: Use the preview option for checking whether all the details entered by you are correct. If there is any discrepancy, you could change/ edit the particulars. But once the application was submitted, no change will be allowed.
Once you make sure that all the information entered by the candidate was correct, then click on “Pay Fee and Submit” button to move on to the fee payment Bill Desk.
Step 6 - Fee Payment of CEED 2018
Along with filling the other details, the candidates also had to pay the application fee or exam fee in online mode. Candidates had two options for fee payment – regular fee payment (without late fee) and fee payment with a late fee of Rs 500.

If the fee payment was successfully completed, then the candidates got a confirmation page. They were required to take a printout of this confirmation page for their own reference. Candidates could also download the PDF file of the CEED 2018 application from once they login to the application form submission portal.

Step 7 - Check the filled registration form and take print
Candidates need to check the filled registration form as reflected on the screen and if satisfied, they must take the print out of the same.
Candidates must note that CEED application form 2018 was submitted online. Therefore, they must not send the application, downloaded PDF or the printout of the confirmation page to the CEED office.
