CEED 2013 Exam Pattern:

The examination consists of two parts to be answered by all candidates:

  • PART-A: An online exam, candidates have to qualify in this to be able to answer Part B. The exam consists of multiple choice questions conducted by an online computerized program,

    Important: There will be negative marking for Part A.

  • PART-B: this is a pen-paper exam and will be evaluated only for candidates who will be short-listed in PART-A. The scores of this exam will be used to determine the merit list and qualified list for CEED 2013


Note: Shortlisting will be after evaluation which will be done after the examination day.

Medium of Paper: The question paper will be in English and preparation for the exam would be by honing of drawing, rendering, and visualization skills.

Specifics for exam day:  
Candidates are required to bring their own pencils of different grades (e.g. H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B etc.), sketch pens, poster colors, and other drawing materials for the examination.

Important: No drawing sheets have to be brought.

Reporting for exam: Candidates should report to the examination centre one hour before the scheduled commencement of the examination.  They are required to register and provide biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) before appearing for the exam. The photograph captured on the day of the exam will be printed on the score card.

Examination Centres: Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kolkatta, and Mumbai

what is NID and CEED how can i go for this??

CEED is Common entrance examination for designing,
This test consists of two rounds, one is amplitude test for all which is common second is interview which is based on your specialisation.

NID has three rounds in total which includes round 1 i.e. DAT known as Design Amplitude Test , it is a objective type test with a drawing part which is common for all followed by a studio test based on your specialisation after that on the very next day comes the third round i.e. interview in which you have to show portfolio.
After that a merit list is provided which is based on the grand total of all three rounds which decides your selection.

what stream should I choose in iit Bombay or in iit Madras or iit delhi kharagpur or in any iits or I can get admission in iit bombay through uceed or ceed or gate ,if yes than please tell me that what is the procedure that how I can take admission because this year i am in class 11.................

hi,

see gate and ceed exam is not for you as you are in 11th , gate or ceed  exam can be attempted  by candidates who are already graduate or in final year of graduation in relevant discipline.

as you want to take admission in iits, you need to apply for uceed exam which is the undergraduate design entrance of iits, also you need to apply for jee main exam, which is the common entrance test of engineering, basis on jee main score candidates may appear in jee advance exam, which is the gate way entrance exam of admission in iits for btech courses.

hii M completed b.sc and diploma in interior designing(3 yrs) is it enough to eligible for CEED exam..?

CEED 2020 eligibility criteria requires :

A candidates must have passed a degree/diploma/postgraduate degree programme of 4 years or 3+2 years.
Candidates who will be taking the final exam of such programmes by July 2020 or those who have passed GD Arts diploma programme by July 2019 can also apply.

CEED 2020 eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualifications is as follows:-

• A candidate with any recognized degree/diploma/post graduate degree program of 4 years or 3+2 years(after 10+2 level) or 3 years after 10+2 can apply.

• Candidates in their final year or who are awaiting their results can also apply for the same.

• Also GD Arts Diploma candidates who have passed the program by July 2020 can apply.
