Jee mains exam will be based on the updated syllabus of cbse as per the news by the education minister. But still as the information brochure is not released so there is a chance that the syllabus will be uncut. That is jee mains can have the full syllabus as per the previous syllabus.
Also this year, JEE Main 2021 ( paper 1 ) will have a total of 90 questions, 25 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. And you have to attempt only 75 questions.
Each subject will have 20 MCQs and 10 numerical questions and correct answer will get you 4 marks and for every wrong answers 1 marks is deducted. 5 out of 10 numerical questions are optional.
Numerical questions don't have negative marking.
JEE Main 2021 for paper 1 (B.Tech) will be conducted for 300 marks, while paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Plan) will be conducted separately for 400 marks each.
And for jee advanced there is no pattern. Every year the pattern gets changes, the full marks changes and marking scheme changes.
