Admission to all M.E. (except Software systems) and M.Pharm. programmes is the based on marks obtained in the BITS Higher Degree admission test or based on GATE/GPAT score. Admission to M.E. in Software Systems will be through the BITS HD test only. So if you are seeking admission to M.E in any program other than Software systems then GATE Score is considered for admission. Hello,
If you have given MET Exam and scored the required cut off then you will be eligible for MET counselling. Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is likely to release MET 2021 result anytime soon. The authorities conducted the Manipal Entrance Test 2021 as a remote-proctored exam from June 11 to 14. With MET score you can attend the MET counselling. Even if you give BITSAT exam it won't effect your MET counselling. The MET counselling dates are not yet declared by the official yet. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information.
Hello Aspirant,
Getting admission into the BITS colleges depends and varies on multiple parameters like the seat availability at college for different branches, no. of applicants appeared and also who have applied, exam difficulty level and previous years cutoff trends and your category.
Yes , you can certainly take help of the previous years statistics given, but it won't predict the same rank or the rank which is nearest. Since, the cutoff of every year is determined by a no. of factors like the ones mentioned above.
Also, each year the no. of students appeared and applied are not the same, therefore , you cannot predict the perfect rank .
For the previous years cutoff trends and how the cutoff is calculated and estimated , you may have a look at the link given below,

Hope that helps. Good luck
