Q. How to apply for BITSAT 2018? Is it online or offline?

Ans: The application form of BITSAT 2018 was available in online mode. Candidates had to register themselves and submit the filled BITSAT 2018 application form. The listed steps had to be followed by the candidates to apply for BITSAT 2018:

  • Registration: Firstly, the candidates had to register themselves by submitting their full name, gender, date of birth, email id.

  • Filling the Online Application Form: The candidates had to submit their personal and 12th standard examination details. The preferred test centres also had to be selected by the candidates. The application number was generated after submitting the above-mentioned information.

  • Uploading Scanned Images: Next, the candidates had to submit their scanned photograph and signature. The specifications of the scanned images had to be according to the official authorities.

  • Payment of Application Fees: Finally, the candidates had to pay the required application fees through online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (through cash in nearby ICICI bank). 

Q.  What are the documents you need to apply for BITSAT 2018?

Ans: The candidates were required to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature in the application form of BITSAT 2018. The following specifications as mentioned by the official authorities had to be met otherwise the document was not accepted:

  • Photograph – The candidate’s photograph had to recent. The file size had to be between 10KB to 30KB and the format had to be JPG/JPEG.

  • Signature – The candidates had to take their signature on a white paper. The file size of the signature had to be 2KB to 20KB and of JPG/JPEG format.

Q. What are the application fees? How to pay them?

Ans: The application fee for the male candidates of BITSAT 2018 is Rs. 2,950 while for the female candidates, the fee is Rs. 2,450. The candidates could pay the application fees through online i.e., net banking/credit card/debit card or through offline mode i.e., by downloading the pay in slip and depositing the fees in cash at any ICICI bank branch.

 

Q. If I have made mistakes in my application form, can I fill another one or correct the mistakes the form?

Ans: If any mistakes were made in the application form, the candidates were able to correct it using the correction facility. Do not fill another form as multiple applications were rejected.

 

Q. Should I send the BITSAT 2018 application form & any documents to the authorities?

Ans: The application form of BITSAT 2018 and any other documents were not be sent to the authorities.

 

Q. How many exam centres should we choose?

Ans: While filling the application form of BITSAT 2018, the candidates had to select at least three exam centres according to their preferences.

 

Q. Is it mandatory to choose exam centres from the same state or we can choose from other states?

Ans: The candidates were able to select the exam centres of BITSAT 2018 from the same state or from other states, according to their preference. There was no restriction.

 

Q. I chose another exam centre while filling BITSAT 2018 form? Can I change it during the slot booking? What is the procedure?

Ans: Yes, the candidates were able to choose another exam centre from the available options during the slot booking. The options available were according to the exam cities selected during the application process.

 

Q. What to carry to the BITSAT 2018 exam?

Ans: The candidates had to carry their BITSAT 2018 admit card and valid ID proof while reporting for the BITSAT 2018 examination.

 

Q. If I need help in filling the form, who to ask?

Ans: The candidates had to contact the official admission helpline in case of any difficulty while filling the application form of BITSAT 2018.

 

Q. How to download BITSAT 2018 admit card?

Ans: The admit card of BITSAT 2018 was available from April 12. To download the admit card, the candidates had to first book their preferred slots after which the admit card was generated. The given steps had to be followed by the candidates to download the BITSAT 2018 admit card:

  • The candidates had to log into the portal by submitting their BITSAT 2018 application number, gender, date of birth and email ID.

  • The admit card was displayed on the screen. The candidates had to check the admit card for any discrepancies.

  • Finally, the admit card had to be downloaded and printed out on A4 size paper.

Q. How to book BITSAT 2018 exam slot?

Ans: All of the registered candidates were able to book their preferred slots during the slot booking process which was being conducted from March 23 to April 5, 2018. Those candidates who did not participate in the BITSAT 2018 slot booking process were offered slots decided by the official authorities. The steps to book the slots for BITSAT 2018 are listed below:

  • Firstly, the candidates had to login to the slot booking portal by submitting their application number, gender, date of birth and email ID.

  • A convenient exam centre had to be selected by the candidates from the available options.

  • The candidates were able to select their preferred exam slot from the available time slots.

  • After selecting their preferred exam slot, the candidates had to confirm it.
