Further, let’s dive into the complete BITSAT analysis for Phase 1 as well as Phase 2. Let’s start with the latest - Phase 2 and then proceed to Phase 1.

BITSAT 2025 Phase 2 Complete Analysis

In this section we have given you a table to understand complete BITSAT analysis 2025 Phase 2.

    Subject

    2025 Analysis

    Mathematics

In 2025, Mathematics proved time-consuming due to lengthy calculations, especially in calculus and vector-related problems. The majority of questions came from Class 12 topics, such as 3D Geometry, Integration, Differential Equations, and Probability. Many were multi-step application problems, requiring both conceptual clarity and calculation speed. Algebraic simplification was often embedded in coordinate geometry and matrices questions, testing accuracy under pressure. The best strategy was to tackle easier, single-step questions first to avoid getting stuck on complex ones early in the paper.

    Physics

The Physics section was easy to moderate overall, with most questions being formula-based and direct. Thermodynamics, Electromagnetic Induction, Modern Physics, and Semiconductors carried significant weight. While most questions were straightforward, a few conceptual ones demanded deeper understanding of principles. Numerical problems were short but demanded instant recall of the correct formulas to avoid wasting time. Dimensional analysis and unit-check problems offered quick scoring chances for those familiar with the basics.

    Chemistry

Chemistry emerged as the easiest section for many candidates, with a heavy focus on NCERT-based concepts, particularly from Organic Chemistry. Direct questions appeared from Alcohols, Ethers, Aldehydes, p-block elements, and Coordination Compounds. Physical Chemistry contained predictable numericals from topics like equilibrium, electrochemistry, and thermodynamics. Inorganic Chemistry leaned heavily on periodic trends and compound properties. Many students could finish the section in under 30 minutes with very high accuracy.

    Aptitude

The Aptitude section was consistently easy and served as a quick confidence booster in the exam. Questions came from common topics such as Data Interpretation, Coding-Decoding, Series, Syllogisms, and Clocks. All questions were direct, with no multi-layered puzzles that are often seen in other competitive exams. This section was an excellent scoring opportunity, as most candidates could answer each question in under a minute. With a bit of practice, almost all questions could be attempted correctly.

    English Proficiency

English remained the shortest section with the highest potential for accuracy if the fundamentals were strong. Most questions covered Reading Comprehension, Grammar correction, and Vocabulary usage, with occasional pronunciation or stress-pattern identification. While the section was easy, careless misinterpretation of RC passages caused unnecessary errors for some students. Since there were only 5 questions, it could be completed within 5–8 minutes, allowing more time for other subjects without compromising on accuracy.

    BITSAT 2025 Phase 2

Now, let's get into the details and look at the analysis of each and every shift. The BITSAT 2025 Phase 2 started from June 22 and ended on June 26. You’ll be able to understand subject-wise analysis, and how tough the paper was overall. You’ll have a better idea by checking the analysis that how you can prepare better.

    BITSAT Cutoff 2025

The candidates are advised to check the cutoff of BITSAT after analysing the BITSAT analysis 2025. This will help the candidates to know what they are assuming is right or wrong. The BITS authorities will release the BITSAT 2025 cutoff in online mode. The cutoff will be prepared on the basis of BITSAT difficulty level analysis, the number of students who appeared, the number of qualifying students, and the total number of seats available. The candidates who will qualify for the BITSAT cutoff 2025 will be able to get admission into the participating institutes.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: How important is time management in BITSAT?
    A:

Time management is extremely important, especially in Mathematics. Many students lost marks because they spent too much time on lengthy problems. A good strategy was to solve easy questions first, then return to time-consuming ones.

Q: How was the difficulty level of Physics this year?
    A:

Physics was moderate overall. Most questions were direct and formula-based, but a few shifts had conceptual questions from topics like Modern Physics, Thermodynamics, and Electrostatics. Strong fundamentals helped in quick solving.

    Q: Was Chemistry NCERT-based in BITSAT 2025?
    A:

Yes, a large portion of the Chemistry questions—especially in Inorganic and Organic Chemistry—were directly based on NCERT content. Physical Chemistry questions also followed predictable patterns from standard syllabus topics.

Q: Which section was the easiest to score in?
    A:

Logical Reasoning was the easiest and most scoring section. Questions were straightforward, mostly from familiar patterns like Coding-Decoding, Series, and Blood Relations, with minimal scope for confusion.

Q: Which subject was the toughest in BITSAT 2025?
    A:

Mathematics was consistently rated as the most challenging section across all shifts. The questions were lengthy, calculation-heavy, and often combined multiple concepts such as Calculus, Probability, and Vectors, making time management a crucial factor.
