BITSAT 2017BITSAT 2018 – The result of BITSAT 2018 for Iteration 4 has been announced on July 19, 2018. The Iteration 3 result was announced on July 10. The result of Iteration 2 was announced on June 30 in online mode. The admission and wait list after Iteration 1 of BITSAT 2018 were announced on June 20. The last date for fee payment is June 28, 2018. Candidates could register for the counselling process of BITSAT 2018 till June 18. The entrance exam was conducted on May 27 to 31, 2018 in a window of 2 weeks. Candidates could check their scores using their application number and password. The admit card of BITSAT 2018 for other candidates was made available in online mode. Registered candidates were able to book their slots until April 10, 2018. The application form of BITSAT 2018 was available from December 19 till March 19.  BITSAT is the entry gate for admissions to Integrated First Degree Programmes of Engineering across the 3 campuses of BITS, located at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. As BITSAT was an online test, candidates got to know their scores as soon as they finished the test. Admission list and the wait list after Iteration II will be released on June 30, 2018. BITSAT Counselling & Seat Allotment 2018

 

The Counselling and Seat Allotment of BITSAT 2018 has commenced. For participating in the counselling of BITSAT 2018, the candidates had to apply and fill the application form for admission till June 18. Along with the application form, the candidates had to apply for admissions with their 12th or 10+2 marks. They also had to select their preferences/choice of institute and course. The seat allotment of BITSAT 2018 is taking place in the form of Iteration rounds. The admission and wait list after Iteration 1 has been announced. Along with the Iteration round result or seat allotment result, the institute is also releasing the cutoff and wait list cutoff for that particular round.

BITSAT Result 2018

 

Candidates can check the scores of BITSAT 2018 as released by the authorities of BITS Pilani on May 19. The admit list which is also the result of BITSAT 2018 has been announced by BITS Pilani on June 20, 2018 in online mode. BITSAT 2018 result has two parts – in one part, the candidates get to know their score as a part of result immediately after the entrance test gets over, secondly, the result has been announced in the form of admit list and wait list of Iteration on June 20, 2018.

BITSAT Cutoff 2018

 

BITS Pilani will release the cutoff of BITSAT 2018 once the admission process is over. BITSAT cutoff is the minimum score needed to have secured by the candidates in order to be considered eligible for admission process. BITSAT 2018 cutoff includes the minimum score branch-wise, below which candidates are not considered for admissions. This means that in order to secure a seat, candidates have to either secure equal marks to the cutoff or above that. BITS Pilani is also releasing the cutoff score of BITSAT 2018 for each iteration or seat allotment round which has 2 parts – simple cutoff for that particular round and wait-list cutoff. BITSAT Sample Papers & Mock Test 2018

 

The sample test of BITSAT 2018 is available in PDF format to download. BITSAT 2018 Sample Papers are quite important from exam point of view. It is advised that aspirants must practise more and more by BITSAT sample papers or previous years question papers which enable candidates to have the strong grip on the type of questions that come in the paper. BITS Pilani will also provide online mock test for candidates. Along with the BITSAT sample papers 2018, the candidates must also take up mock tests increasingly. The more candidates take mock tests and practise previous years question papers, the more they become equipped with the type of questions that are expected to come in the actual BITSAT 2018 paper. BITSAT 2018 mock test will be an online sample test.

BITSAT Slot Booking 2018

 

BITS Pilani has closed the Slot Booking of BITSAT 2018 now. BITSAT 2018 slot booking commenced from March 23 and ended on April 10, 2018. In the slot booking procedure of BITSAT 2018, the candidates were required to select a slot for themselves as per the time and date available on which they want to appear in the entrance test. Candidates need to remember that slot booking is an important part of the exam process. Those candidates who fail to book their slots will be allotted according to the authorities. BITSAT 2018 slot booking included selecting/choosing time, date and exam centre for appearing in the test. Candidates got the liberty to opt for slot booking as per their time and comfort. Slot booking was done on first come first serve basis, thus candidates were advised to do it as soon as possible. After the slot booking, candidates will get access to download their hall ticket of BITSAT 2018.

BITSAT Hall Ticket 2018

 

The admit card or hall ticket of BITSAT 2018 was available in online mode for registered candidates and those who have booked their slots. The last date to download the BITSAT 2018 admit card was May 10, 2018. This means that had to get around 20-25 days to download the hall ticket of BITSAT 2018. Candidates must keep in mind that possessing a valid BITSAT 2018 hall ticket is a mandate and the exam authorities will not allow any candidate to enter the test centre who doesn’t carry the admit card to the exam centre.  

 

How to download BITSAT 2018 Hall Ticket?

  • Log in to the portal and enter the following details as per the specified columns,

  • BITSAT Application Number, Gender, Date of Birth and Email ID

  • Click on “Proceed” button

BITSAT Application Form 2018

 

BITS Pilani had released the application form of BITSAT 2018 on December 19, 2017. The last date for filling the BITSAT 2018 application form was March 19. Candidates need to fill their academic and personal details in the online application form of BITSAT 2018 and submit it before the deadline. Along with submitting BITSAT application form 2018, the candidates are also required to pay the application or exam fee (details of which are mentioned below). Candidates must also make use of facilities like editing/updating their application form as well as finding their application number and status.

BITSAT Eligibility Criteria 2018

 

The eligibility criteria of BITSAT 2018 includes the eligibility conditions needed to be fulfilled by the aspiring candidates in order to be considered eligible for the entrance test. BITSAT 2018 eligibility criteria carry specific information related to qualifying marks, qualifying exam, subject combination, the total number of attempts, age, etc. See complete details below.

  • Candidates passed class 12 or equivalent examination (from any state/central board). However, they have to score 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam. Also, in each of the 3 subjects, they must also secure 60% marks separately.

  • Aspiring candidates should also have proficiency in English to be able to appear in BITSAT 2018.

  • Candidates who have appeared in class 12th in 2018 or 2017 would be considered eligible for BITSAT 2018.

  • Candidates with Rank 1 in state or central boards in India will be offered seats of their choice, despite their rank/score in BITSAT 2018. However, these candidates should meet the all eligibility conditions mentioned above.

 

BITSAT Exam Centres 2018

 

The exam centres of BITSAT 2018 has been released by BITS Pilani. BITSAT 2018 exam centres are the venues and places where the engineering entrance test is held and in 2018 there were 50 cities including Dubai where the entrance exam was conducted. Last year, BITSAT was held across 46 test centres in India and 1 in Dubai. While filling the application form of BITSAT, the candidates had to choose 3 exam centres in the order of their preference and as per their convenience, while candidates opting for Dubai exam centre can choose only 1 exam centre – Dubai. BITS Pilani determines and decides the exam pattern of BITSAT 2018. Knowing the exam pattern of BITSAT is a must for candidates who wish to appear for the entrance examination, as it gives them a complete idea about how the exam would be.   • BITSAT 2018 was held in online mode. The paper had 4 sections – Part I, Part II, Part III and Part IV

  • Physics and Chemistry sections had 40 questions each, while Mathematics had 45 questions and English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning had 10 and 15 questions respectively.

  • The time allotted to complete BITSAT 2018 paper was 3 hours (without break)

  • All the questions were objective in nature or in other words – MCQs.

  • Each correct answer was given 3 marks, each incorrect -1 and unattempted questions were given zero or no marks.

  • If any candidate finished answering all the 150 questions, then he/she could opt for 12 extra questions, 4 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), in case they still had time within the allotted 3 hours.

 

BITSAT Syllabus 2018

 

BITS Pilani designs and releases the syllabus of BITSAT 2018 so that candidates know from which topics and chapters of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics the questions will appear in the paper. It is important for aspiring candidates to know about the syllabus of BITSAT 2018 so that they can prepare from the topics for the entrance test accordingly.   The paper of BITSAT 2018 will have questions from different topics from the following sections:

BITS Pilani does not provide or release the answer key of BITSAT 2018. In case the exam conducting authority gives away the answer key for BITSAT 2018, we will provide it here. Candidates, who appear in BITSAT 2018 exam can compare their answers with the official answer key of BITSAT 2018 and estimate how much probable marks they are going to secure in the entrance test.   • In order to use the innovative tool, the candidates have to register or log.

  • After registration/log in, they must enter their BITSAT 2018 score/marks, choose preferred branch and location and click on “Predict Now” button. After doing this, the candidates will have the predicted college for them right in front.

The participating institutes of BITSAT 2018 are the institutes which offer admissions to the qualifying candidates based on their performance in BITSAT 2018. There are 3 participating institutes of BITSAT 2018 – BITS Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad which will offer admissions to Integrated First Degree Programmes of Engineering at these 3 campuses. Together, all the 3 campuses offer admissions to over 2,000 First Degree Programmes of Engineering. Every year, around 2 lakh candidates appear in this engineering entrance exam.
