BITSAT 2020 - Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani has released the online application form of BITSAT 2020 in online mode on January 11. Candidates will be able to fill out the application form till March 31, 2020. The authorities will conduct BITSAT 2020 in online mode for admissions into undergraduate engineering courses at different campuses of BITS from May 16 to 25. Candidates seeking admission in BITS campuses are required to compulsorily register for the entrance test by filling the BITSAT 2020 application form. The application form of BITSAT has been released on January 11 in online mode. Candidates wishing to apply for the entrance test have to duly fill the application form and complete the registration process by paying the application fee before March 31, 2020. In case, students make any errors in the application form of BITSAT 2020, they will also get the facility to edit the application form from April 1 to 6, 2020. Candidates must note that they will not be able to edit the registration form of BITSAT 2020 after the last date. The detailed process to fill BITSAT 2020 application form is given below:
Visit the official website of BITS and register for BITSAT 2020 by entering basic personal, academic and contact details in the required boxes.
After entering all the required details candidates will have to upload their scanned photo and signature in the prescribed format specified by the authorities.
The last step of BITSAT 2020 application process is the payment of the application fee. The candidates can make the application fee payment either online through credit card/ debit card/ online banking or in offline mode.

Candidates seeking admission through BITSAT 2020 must first check the eligibility conditions laid out by the exam conducting authorities. Students who fulfill the eligibility conditions of BITSAT 2020 will only be considered for admissions at BITS campuses. The detailed BITSAT eligibility criteria is given below:
Candidates must have passed their class 12 from a recognized central or state board.
Candidates must have passed their class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with adequate proficiency in English.
Candidates must pass their class 12 with 75% aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates who opted for Biology must have 75% aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates must also score 60% individually in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Candidates who have passed their class 12 in 2020 or 2019 will be eligible to appear for BITSAT 2020

Candidates preparing for BITSAT 2020 must be aware of the BITSAT syllabus to have an idea about the topics and concepts from where the questions will be asked in the exam. The BITSAT 2020 syllabus will be released by the exam conducting authorities in online mode. BITSAT 2020 exam will consist of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates appearing for the entrance test can take the help of BITSAT 2020 mock tests and sample papers to get the actual feel of an BITSAT exam and the nature of the exam. The exam conducting authorities will release the BITSAT 2020 sample papers in pdf format through the official website.
BITSAT 2020 will be conducted at 58 cities all over the country which will be known as BITSAT exam centres. Candidates will be able to add their 3 preferences of exam centres while filling up their application form of the entrance test. The exam will be also conducted at an overseas centre in Dubai.
To appear for BITSAT 2020, candidates will have to compulsorily book their slots for the exam from April 10 to 18. In the BITSAT 2020 slot booking process, candidates will have to select their preference of date, time and venue of the exam. In case the students fail to book their slot before last date, the authorities will automatically allot the slot. Students appearing for the entrance test must note that BITSAT 2020 slot booking process will be done on first come first serve basis. Candidates will be able to book their slot for BITSAT 2020 exam by logging in to their account with their application number and password.
The BITSAT 2020 admit card will be released by the exam conducting authorities through the official website of BITS admissions. Authorities will release the hall ticket of BITSAT on April 20, 2020. The admit card of BITSAT 2020 is a mandatory document that candidates need to carry to get entry into the exam hall. The BITSAT hall ticket will carry details like the name of the candidate, centre of examination, date of time of exam and a lot of other important information.
The exam authorities will release the BITSAT 2020 result in online mode through the official website of BITS admissions. The result of BITSAT will be declared in two steps - first the authorities will declare the score of BITSAT 2020 after the exam is conducted in the form of correct answers, incorrect answers and total score of the candidate. Later, the authorities will declare the result in the form of iteration which will comprise of wait list and admit list.
BITSAT 2020 cutoff is the qualifying marks that a candidate needs to secure to be considered for admissions at the different campuses of BITS. Students seeking admissions through BITSAT 2020 must score equal to or greater than the cutoff of the exam. Once the tests are completed, the authorities will release the branch-wise cutoff and candidates who score marks lower than the cutoff will not be considered for admissions.
Students appearing for BITSAT 2020 will be given admissions through counselling and seat allotment process. To be eligible for admissions candidates will have to register for BITSAT counselling 2020 by paying the registration fee and selecting their preferences of branches and institutes. The result of BITSAT 2020 seat allotment will be declared in the form of iteration results that will be announced in several rounds. Candidates can attempt BITSAT 2020 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2. However, they will be eligible to apply only for the B. Pharm program. They will not be eligible for any other first degree program of the Institute.
The application form correction facility will be made available on the official website from April 1 to 6, 2020 where the candidates will be able to edit the required fields during the specified period. No email queries will be entertained in this regard.
If the candidates are repeating 12th exam, they should do it for the all the subjects to pass 12th again as mentioned in the BITSAT brochure. If they take improvement exams in PCM/PCB only, then they are not eligible.
