BITSAT 2018 – BITS Pilani has released the application form on December 19 and the last date for filling it March 13, 2018. BITSAT will be conducted in online mode from May 16- 31, 2018. BITSAT 2018 entrance test will be conducted in a window of 2 weeks for admissions to the Integrated First Degree Programmes of Engineering at its 3 campuses - Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. BITS Pilani will also provide application correction facility from March 15-19, 2018. BITSAT 2018 test centre allotment will be done on March 21, 2018, while the slot booking will commence from March 23, 2018 and will continue till April 5, 2018. After successful registration, the candidates can download the hall ticket of BITSAT 2018 from April 10, 2018 to May 10, 2018. As BITSAT is an online test, the test takers get to know their scores immediately after the complete the test. However, the institute releases the score card separately, which can be downloaded by the candidates in the third week of May 2018. BITS Pilani will also release the admission list and wait list in the form of Iteration I and Iteration II in the first week and second week of July 2018. The eligibility criteria of BITSAT 2018 include the eligibility conditions needed to be fulfilled by the aspiring candidates in order to be considered eligible for the entrance test. BITSAT 2018 eligibility criteria carry specific information related to qualifying marks, qualifying exam, subject combination, total number of attempts, age, etc. See complete details below.
Candidates passed class 12 or equivalent examination (from any state/central board). However, they have to score 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam. Also, in each of the 3 subjects, they must also secure 60% marks separately.
Aspiring candidates should also have proficiency in English to be able to appear in BITSAT 2018.
Candidates who have appeared in class 12th in 2018 or 2017 would be considered eligible for BITSAT 2018.
Candidates with Rank 1 in state or central boards in India will be offered seats of their choice, despite their rank/score in BITSAT 2018. However, these candidates should meet the all eligibility conditions mentioned above.

The exam centres of BITSAT 2018 has been released by BITS Pilani. BITSAT 2018 exam centres are the venues and places where the engineering entrance test will be held and in 2018 there are 50 cities includig Dubai where the entrance exam will be conducted. Last year, BITSAT was held across 46 test centres in India and 1 in Dubai. While filling the application form of BITSAT 2018, the candidates have to choose 3 exam centres in the order of their preference and as per their convenience, while candidates opting for Dubai exam centre can choose only 1 exam centre – Dubai. How to prepare for BITSAT 2018?
Aspiring candidates must know about certain important elements of the exam like syllabus, exam pattern, mock tests, sample papers, etc. Check them all below.
BITS Pilani determines and decides BITSAT 2018 exam pattern. Knowing the exam pattern of BITSAT is a must for candidates who wish to appear for the entrance examination, as it gives them complete idea about how the exam would be. The BITSAT 2018 exam pattern include details about marking scheme, total number of questions, time allotted to attempt the paper, subjects and topics covered, nature of questions and sections of the paper, etc. Know more about the exam pattern of BITSAT 2018 below.

- BITSAT 2018 will be held in online mode. The paper will have 4 sections – Part I, Part II, Part III and Part IV
Physics and Chemistry sections have 40 questions each, while Mathematics has 45 questions and English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning have 10 and 15 questions respectively.
The time allotted to complete BITSAT 2018 paper is 3 hours (without break)
All the questions are objective in nature or in other words – MCQs.
Each correct answer will be given 3 marks, each incorrect -1 and unattempted questions will be given zero or no marks.
If any candidate finishes answering all the 150 questions, then he/she can opt for 12 extra questions, 4 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), in case they still have time within the allotted 3 hours.
BITS Pilani designs and releases the BITSAT 2018 syllabus so that candidates know from which topics and chapters of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics the questions will appear in the paper. It is important for aspiring candidates to know about the syllabus of BITSAT 2018 so that they can prepare from the topics for the entrance test accordingly.

The Sample Papers of BITSAT 2018 are quite important from exam point of view. It is advised that aspirants must practise more and more sample papers of BITSAT or previous years question papers which enable candidates to have strong grip on the type of questions that come in the paper. BITS Pilani will also provide online mock test for candidates. Along with the BITSAT sample papers 2018, the candidates must also take up mock tests increasingly. The more candidates take mock tests and practise previous years question papers, the more they become equipped with the type of questions that are expected to come in the actual BITSAT 2018 paper. BITSAT 2018 mock test will be an online sample test, while the sample papers will be available in PDF format to download.
BITS Pilani will begin the Slot Booking of BITSAT 2018 from the March 23, 2018. BITSAT 2018 slot booking will end on April 5, 2018. In the slot booking procedure of BITSAT 2018, the candidates are required to select a slot for themselves as per the time and date available on which they want to appear in the entrance test. Candidates must remember that slot booking is an important part of the exam process wherein failing to book a slot will lead the candidate not to appear in the entrance test. Thus, all candidates must do it without fail. BITSAT 2018 slot booking includes selecting/choosing time, date and exam centre for appearing in the test. Candidates get the liberty to opt for slot booking as per their time and comfort. Slot booking is done on on first come first serve basis, thus candidates are advised to do it as soon as possible. After the slot booking, candidates will get access to download their hall ticket of BITSAT 2018.

BITS Pilani does not provide or release the answer key for BITSAT 2018. In case the exam conducting authority gives away the answer key for BITSAT 2018, we will provide it here. BITSAT 2018 answer key will have correct answers to all the questions asked in the entrance test. Candidates, who appear in BITSAT 2018 can compare their answers with the BITSAT answer key 2018 and estimate how much probable marks they are going to secure in the entrance test. Along with the official answer key, some coaching institutes may also give the answer key of BITSAT 2018.
The admit list which is also the result of BITSAT 2018 will be announced by BITS Pilani on June 20, 2018 in online mode. The result of BITSAT 2018 has two parts – in one part, the candidates get to know their score as a part of result immediately after the entrance test gets over, secondly, the result is announced in the form of admit list and wait list of Iteration will be announced on June 20, 2018. However, the institute also releases BITSAT 2018 result in the form of online scores of the candidates, tentatively in the third week of May 2018.

The cutoff of BITSAT 2018 is the minimum score needed to have secured by the candidates in order to be considered eligible for admission process. BITSAT 2018 cutoff includes the minimum score branch-wise, below which candidates are not considered for admissions. This means that in order to secure a seat, the candidates have to either secure equal marks to the cutoff or above that. BITS Pilani will also release cutoff score of BITSAT 2018 for each iteration or seat allotment round which has 2 parts – simple cutoff for that particular round and wait-list cutoff. BITSAT Counselling & Seat Allotment 2018
BITSAT 2018 Counselling and Seat Allotment begins after the result of BITSAT 2018 is declared. For participating in the counselling of BITSAT 2018, the candidates have to apply and fill application form for admission. Along with the application form, the candidates have to apply for admissions with their 12th or 10+2 marks. They also have to select their preferences/choice of institute and course. The seat allotment of BITSAT 2018 will take place in the form of Iteration rounds. Once the application procedure is over, BITS Pilani will tentatively start the seat allotment from the first week of July 2018. Along with the Iteration round result or seat allotment result, the institute will also release the cutoff and wait list cutoff for that particular round.
