Candidates must have passed their class 12 from a recognized central or state board.
Candidates must have passed their class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with adequate proficiency in English.
Candidates must pass their class 12 with 75% aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates who opted for Biology must have 75% aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Candidates must also score 60% individually in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Candidates who have passed their class 12 in 2020 or 2019 will be eligible to appear for BITSAT 2020
Note: State board and central board toppers will be given admissions in the seats of their choice given that they meet the above given eligibility criteria.

Candidates seeking admission in BITS campuses will have to compulsorily register for the entrance test by filling the BITSAT 2020 application form. The application form of BITSAT will be released in online mode tentatively in the first week of January 2020. Candidates wishing to apply for the entrance test will have to duly fill the application form and complete the registration process by paying the application fee. In case, students make any errors in the application form of BITSAT 2020, they will also get the facility to edit the application form. Candidates must note that they will not be able to edit the registration form of BITSAT 2020 after the last date. The detailed process to fill BITSAT 2020 application form is given below:
Visit the official website of BITS and register for BITSAT 2020 by entering basic personal, academic and contact details in the required boxes.
After entering all the required details candidates will have to upload their scanned photo and signature in the prescribed format specified by the authorities.

Candidates preparing for BITSAT 2020 must be aware of the BITSAT syllabus to have an idea about the topics and concepts from where the questions will be asked in the exam. The BITSAT 2020 syllabus will be released by the exam conducting authorities in online mode. BITSAT 2020 exam will consist of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The exam conducting authorities will release the BITSAT 2020 sample papers in pdf format through the official website.
BITSAT 2020 will be conducted at various cities/states all over the country which will be known as BITSAT exam centres. Candidates will be able to add their 3 preferences of exam centres while filling up their application form of the entrance test. The exam will be also conducted at an overseas centre in Dubai.
To appear for BITSAT 2020, candidates will have to compulsorily book their slots for the exam. Authorities will release the hall ticket of BITSAT tentatively in the second week of April 2020. The admit card of BITSAT 2020 is a mandatory document that candidates need to carry to get entry into the exam hall. The BITSAT hall ticket will carry details like the name of the candidate, centre of examination, date of time of exam and a lot of other important information.
The exam authorities will release the BITSAT 2020 result in online mode through the official website of BITS admissions. The result of BITSAT will be declared in two steps - first the authorities will declare the score of BITSAT 2020 after the exam is conducted in the form of correct answers, incorrect answers and total score of the candidate. Later, the authorities will declare the result in the form of iteration which will comprise of wait list and admit list.
BITSAT 2020 cutoff is the qualifying marks that a candidate needs to secure to be considered for admissions at the different campuses of BITS. Students seeking admissions through BITSAT 2020 must score equal to or greater than the cutoff of the exam. Once the tests are completed, the authorities will release the branch-wise cutoff and candidates who score marks lower than the cutoff will not be considered for admissions.
Students appearing for BITSAT 2020 will be given admissions through counselling and seat allotment process. To be eligible for admissions candidates will have to register for BITSAT counselling 2020 by paying the registration fee and selecting their preferences of branches and institutes. The result of BITSAT 2020 seat allotment will be declared in the form of iteration results that will be announced in several rounds. Apart from the allotment result, the authorities will declare the result of that particular round along with the wait list of candidates.

Candidates can attempt BITSAT 2020 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2. However, they will be eligible to apply only for the B. Pharm program. They will not be eligible for any other first degree program of the Institute.
The application form correction facility will be made available on the official website where the candidates will be able to edit the required fields during the specified period. No email queries will be entertained in this regard.
If the candidates are repeating 12th exam, they should do it for the all the subjects to pass 12th again as mentioned in the BITSAT brochure. If they take improvement exams in PCM/PCB only, then they are not eligible.

there is no reservation criteria in bits , so dont have any category wise cutoff. you need to have 75% marks aggregate 10+2 in pcb or pcm with atleast 60% marks in physics , chemistry, mathematics to become eligible for admission in btech in bits.
cutoff can be different for different engineering branches. to get into computer science 340+ score needed in previous years. overall 300+ score is in safe zone for bits pilani btech admission.
Yes , you can obviously take them. It's not necessary for you to complete all the chapters. If you have done only the important chapters, then you have chances of getting NITs too. However, for BITSAT it's going to be a little tough because of the compitition and paper pattern. All the best!
