AP PGECET 2019 - Andhra University has announced the seat allotment for the final phase of AP PGECET 2019 counselling. Candidates can report to their allotted institutes till September 23, 2019 (before 5 PM). Previously, the seat allotment result of AP EAMCET 2019 for GATE/AP PGECET qualified candidates was released.The rank card of AP PGECET 2019 was released on May 21 and the result was announced on May 14. The qualified candidates of AP PGECET, GATE and GPAT exams could apply for admission into the participating institutes of AP PGECET 2019. AP PGECET 2019 was conducted from May 2 to 4 in online mode. Candidates were allowed to apply for AP PGECET 2019 till April 18, 2019 by paying an additional late fee while the last date was April 5 without late fees. Andhra University has released the AP PGECET 2019 answer key. Candidates can now download the answer key to calculate their score. Students who have any objection from the answer key can also raise their objection in the prescribed format within the given time. This will help candidates to estimate their entrance exam marks and along with their admission chances.
The authorities have announced the result of AP PGECET 2019 in online mode on May 14. Candidates can now check their AP PGECET 2019 result by using their registration number, date of birth and entrance exam paper. AP PGECET 2019 result will contain candidates’ rank, percentile, scores and qualifying status. It is important for candidates to download their result and also take a print out of the same for future use.
AP PGECET Rank Card 2019
Candidates can now download their AP PGECET 2019 rank card. Those candidates who have qualified can download the same by logging in and entering their Registration No, Hall Ticket No and date of birth. In AP PGECET 2019, the ranks are allotted to only those candidates who meet the qualifying percentage marks which is 25% i.e. 30 marks out of 120. However, for candidates belonging to SC or ST categories, there will be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking.
The cutoff of AP PGECET 2019 will be the minimum marks required by candidates for admission into the institutes participating and courses offered by them. Candidates who will score less than AP PGECET 2019 cutoff will have lesser chances of admissions. Therefore, candidates will have to meet the cutoff of AP PGECET 2019 to be able to get through the admission procedure. AP PGECET 2019 cutoff will be prepared by the admission authorities concerned using certain influential parameters.
The final phase of counselling has ended. The counselling of AP PGECET 2019 was conducted only for the qualified candidates of GATE/ GPAT and AP PGECET exam. During AP PGECET 2019 counselling, candidates had to fill their choices of colleges and courses, get their documents verified and pay the counselling fee. Candidates belonging to General and OBC categories were required to pay Rs 1000 while SC & ST candidates had to pay Rs 600 before they participated in the document verification process. The payment could be done either through net banking or by a credit or debit card.
The seat allotment result for the final phase has been announced on September 19, 2019. Candidates are allotted seats on the basis of their choice filling, merit and availability of seats. After the seat allotment, candidates will have to visit the allotted institute for admission purpose and to complete the remaining formalities. Previously, the first phase allotment for GATE/AP PGECET qualified candidates was released.
The eligibility criteria of AP PGECET 2019 as officially prescribed are a set of parameters which candidates will have to fulfil to be considered for entrance exam and admission.
According to AP PGECET 2019 eligibility criteria,
Candidates need to be Indian.
They must have appeared in GATE/ GPAT/ AP PGECET in the relevant subjects.
They need to have obtained minimum 50% marks in their B.E/ B.Tech degree if they are from General category. However, if they belong to SC or ST categories, they need 40% marks for the same.
The lower age limit for candidates to be eligible for AP PGECET is 21 years.
For those candidates who are pursuing B.E./ B.Tech will also be eligible to apply for admission. However, they need to have completed their prescribed course with all subjects as passed from the university concerned till the date of AP PGECET counselling.
AP PGECET Eligibility Criteria 2019 for Admission
To get admission, candidates will have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
It is important for candidates to know that 85% of the seats in AP PGECET for each course will be reserved for local candidates and remaining 15% seats will be for unreserved candidates.
At the time of seat allotment for admission, first preference will be given to GATE/ GPAT qualified candidates on the basis of their scores.s
The seats that will be left unfilled will be allotted to the qualified candidates of AP PGECET 2019 on the basis of their merit ranks.
The application form of AP PGECET 2019 has been closed on April 18. Candidates were allowed to fill the AP PGECET 2019 application form and submit it on or before the last date.

Step 1 – Payment of application fee: Candidates had to pay the requisite application fee and provide the details required. Upon successful payment, they received a transaction ID which had to be kept safe.

Step 2 – Registration: To register, candidates had to provide their payment reference ID, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number and date of birth.
Step 3 – Providing of details: After registration, candidates had to fill their personal, qualifying exam, communication and Aadhaar Card details. They also had to choose exam centres according to their preference and upload their photo and signature in the format specified.
Step 4 – Submission of form: As soon as all the details are filled in the form, candidates had to check them carefully and then submit them. A unique registration number was generated the moment form was submitted. This number had to be noted down by candidates for future. They should also download the filled application form and take its print out.
The exam centres of AP PGECET 2019 are those colleges/ schools/ institutes where candidates had to visit on the exam day. Candidates had to appear in AP PGECET 2019 at their allotted exam centre as mentioned on their admit card. The list of AP PGECET 2019 exam centres can be checked from the table given below.

Candidates appearing for the exam must know how to prepare for it by knowing it’s exam pattern and syllabus. They should refer to AP PGECET 2019 exam pattern and syllabus mandatorily to be able to know from where questions will be asked and in which format.

We cannot specify particular companies which may show interest on the students with APPGCET, it totally depends on the company in the market and criteria those companies expect from the young graduates. So it is best for wait and see, but I can assure that people with applauding marks in APPGCET will definitely win a good job.
Only the students who have qualified All India Gate Examination are entitled to a stipend of Rs.12,800 from All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE). The students who take admission based upon AP PGECET scores alone are not entitled to any stipend from AICTE however, they are entitled to getting a tuition fee waiver from the Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Government but that's applicable only to SC/ ST candidates below a certain age as mentioned by the government. Some universities award some of their students with some scholarships or one time stipends but that's totally based upon the discretion of the authorities.
