AMUEEEAMUEEE 2018 - Aligarh Muslim University has released the answer key of AMUEEE 2018 on May 16, 2018. Candidates can use the answer key to calculate their estimate scores in the entrance exam. The university conducted the Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam (AMUEEE) 2018 on May 13. The test for B.Tech was held at 10 am and for B.Arch. programmes at 3 pm on May 13 in offline mode. The admit card of AMUEEE 2018 was available in online mode from April 25. Candidates who had downloaded AMUEEE admit card 2018 before April 25 were required to download it again. Admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes will be offered based on candidates performance in AMUEEE 2018. After announcement of AMUEEE 2018 result, candidates will have to participate in counselling and seat allotment process. The counselling of AMUEEE 2018 is expected to be held in 3 rounds starting tentatively in first week of July. Aligarh Muslim University offers as many as 465 seats across 7 B.Tech programmes, and additional 150 seats in B.E. Evening programmes. What’s New?

  • The application fee for B.Tech and B.E (evening) has been increased to Rs. 600 and Rs. 400 respectively.

AMUEEE Answer Key 2018

 

The answer key of AMUEEE 2018 has been released by the university on May 16 in online mode. By checking AMUEEE answer key 2018, candidates can compare their answers they have marked in the actual test. By comparing their answers with the answer key of AMUEEE 2018, candidates will get to know their probable score and marks in AMUEEE 2018. AMUEEE Result 2018

 

Aligarh Muslim University will declare the result of AMUEEE 2018 tentatively in the second week of June 2018. AMUEEE Cutoff 2018

 

The cutoff of AMUEEE 2018 is determined by Aligarh Muslim University for admissions to B.Tech and B.E. evening programmes. AMUEEE 2018 cutoff is the minimum score/marks candidates need to secure in the test in order to be considered eligible for admissions. Candidates having scores/marks below/less that the cutoff of AMUEEE 2018 will not be considered eligible for admissions. Checking AMUEEE 2018 cutoff gives an idea to the candidates about their admission chances in the branches of B.Tech they aspire to get admission in.

 

AMUEEE Merit List 2018

 

The merit list of AMUEEE 2018 is a part of of AMUEEE result only. AMUEEE merit list 2018 will be prepared on the basis of candidates performance (Ranks) in the entrance test. For calculating the ranks of AMUEEE 2018, the candidates’ marks/scores are taken into account.

AMUEEE Counselling & Seat Allotment 2018

 

The counselling and seat allotment of AMUEEE 2018 will be conducted by AMU in offline mode, tentatively from the first week of June to the second week of August 2018. Only qualified candidates in AMUEEE 2018 will be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process of AMUEEE 2018. It’s expected that AMUEEE 2018 counselling will be held in 3 rounds. Besides the 3 rounds of counselling and seat allotment, separate counselling will be held for different categories of candidates and as per the different merit lists. All qualified candidates must reach the notified counselling venue with their original as well as photocopies of the required documents for document verification as per their ranks and schedule. Once a seat is confirmed, the candidates have to pay the admission fee which is the final stage of admission confirmation.

 

Documents/certificates to be produced at the counselling venue for verification:

  • 10th/high school or its equivalent examination certificate to prove date of birth

  • Marks sheet/grade sheet of 12th class or equivalent qualifying test (along with four self-attested photocopies)

  • Ten (2.5x3.0 cm) recent colour photographs with white background

  • Migration/Transfer/character certificate from the institution last attended

  • Certificates proving special categories claim in the AMUEEE application form 

  • 4 self-addressed envelopes with postage stamps of Rs. 22 each (to be submitted in the Office of the Provost of Hall of Residence/NRSC allotted).

  • Two Oath Commissioner’s Affidavit on plain paper – one on candidate’s behalf and other on behalf of candidate’s parents/guardian (regarding not-indulgence in ragging)

  • Admission fee payment at the Cash Counter of the admission Venue either in Cash or through Bank Deamnd Draft (DD) from a Nationalized Bank. DD should be made in favour of the Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh payable at Aligarh.

AMUEEE Admit Card 2018

 

Aligarh Muslim University had released the admit card of AMUEEE 2018 on April 25, 2018 in online mode. Only those candidates were able to download their AMUEEE admit card 2018 who had successfully registered and filled the application form for the test. Admit Card of AMUEEE 2018 is an important document and all registered candidates must bear in mind not to forget to carry the admit card with them on the day of the test to the examination hall. No candidate was allowed to take the test without possessing AMUEEE 2018 admit card.

AMUEEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

 

Aligarh Muslim University has determine the eligibility criteria of AMUEEE 2018 for admission to B.Tech programmes. All aspiring candidates have to fulfil AMUEEE eligibility criteria 2018 before they apply or fill the application form for AMUEEE 2018. AMUEEE 2018 eligibility criteria include eligibility conditions related to age, educational qualification, qualifying examination and marks scores in it, subject combination, etc.

 

AMUEEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

  • Candidates should have passed class 12th or 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized central or state board with at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam 

  • The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in their qualifying examination.

  • Candidates who have done diploma in engineering from Aligarh Muslim University with at least 50% aggregate marks are also eligible to apply.

 

AMUEEE 2018 Eligibility Criteria for B.E. Evening

  • Must have passed the qualifying examination from a recognized central/state board or a university with at least 50% aggregate marks. 

  • Diploma holders in engineering, in same or relevant branch from AMU with at least 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible to apply. 

AMUEEE Application Form 2018

 

The application form of AMUEEE 2018 is over now. In order to take the test – AMUEEE 2018, all aspirants had to fill and submit the application form of AMUEEE 2018 using valid data, upload essential documents and pay the applicable application fee. The steps to fill the AMUEEE 2018 application form is given below: 

  • Create Profile: The applicant has to first create a candidate profile on the application portal using valid email id. Details that has to be entered for profile creation include user name, name of the candidate, and password.
  • Upload documents:  Next the candidate has to uplaod scanned copies of photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression in the perscribed format
  • Enter course and academic details: The candidate has to next select the course usning the drop-down menu and also fill in qualifying exam details. 
  • Pay the application fee: Depending on the course opted for admission, the candidate has to pay the applicable fee.  

AMUEEE Application Fee

  • AMUEEE Application Fee - Rs. 600 (For B.Tech)

  • AMUEEE Application Fee - Rs. 700 (for both B.Tech and B.Arch)

  • AMUEEE Application Fee – Rs. 400 (for B.E. Evening) 

Application Fee Payment Mode – Application fee can be paid only through online mode – Net banking/credit/debit card.

 

Important: Candidates having 40% disability (PwD) do not have to pay any application fee/processing fee.


Application Correction
: Candidates who have filled the AMUEEE 2018 application form can make corrections to the form from March 22-25. To make corrections, the candidate has to log-in to the correction portal using their registered user ID. 

AMUEEE 2018 Exam Centres 

 

The exam centres of AMUEEE 2018 are the venues where the university level engineering entrance test was held. There may be multiple AMUEEE test centres 2018 in one city or town where the test was conducted. While filling the application form of AMUEEE 2018, the applicants had to choose 2 or 3 test centres as per their comfort and convenience where they want to appear in the examination. Note: Aligarh was the only exam centre for B.Arch. The examination authority can cancel any examination centre if it does not find the number of candidates sufficient for that particular centre. In such a situation, the candidates were given the subsequent exam centres as per their order to choice.

 

How to prepare for AMUEEE 2018?

 

AMUEEE Exam Pattern 2018

 

AMU releases the exam pattern of AMUEEE 2018 for candidates which includes various aspects of the exam like the total time given to attempt the test, marking scheme, type and nature of the questions, sections, etc. AMUEEE exam pattern 2018 helps the candidates in understanding the overall pattern of the exam and the question paper.

  • AMUEEE 2018 paper has 150 questions in total from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 

  • All questions in the paper are objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).

  • 1 mark is given for each correct answer, while .25 or 1/4th marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.
