About TMISAT 2013: TMISAT is an entrance exam conducted by the Tolani maritime Institute to provide admission to the best candidates to engineering courses in the university.
TMISAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate wishing to apply for B.Tech must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. The candidate must have a minimum aggregate score of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The candidate must also acquire a minimum score of 50% in English either in 10th standard or 12th standard.
The candidate must not be married and must meet the minimum physical requirements set by the university. The male candidates born after September 1, 1992 and the female candidates who are born on or after 1st September 1990 are eligible to apply for the 2013 batch..
TMISAT 2013 Selection Procedure:
The selection procedure is based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance test. The committee will also assess the other requirements listed in the qualifications directory.
TMISAT 2013 Paper Pattern:
The test will be online and will have objective type questions with multiple choice answers. The test will cover various subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and Analytical and Logical Reasoning.
TMISAT 2013 Application process:Online: Click here Pay application fee of Rs 1000 via Credit/Debit Cards/DD/Pay order in favour of "Tolani Maritime Institute", payable at Pune. Print duly filled application form and the summary generated. Send the same along with the transaction receipt, if paid online, OR Demand Draft/Pay Order to TMI. Please write the form no. and contact details on the reverse of the draft.ORObtain the application forms from the TMI Induri and select Axis Bank branches Application form will be available by paying Cash / Demand Draft/ Pay Order of Rs. 300 drawn in favour of "Tolani Maritime Institute" payable at Pune. Duly filled application form have to be sent to TMI along with a Demand Draft / Pay Order for Rs. 1000 towards the non-refundable application and online test fees. The draft should be drawn in favour of "Tolani Maritime Institute", payable at Pune. Please write the form no. and contact details on the reverse of the draft.

Last date for availability of forms: 31st May 2013
Last date for submission of duly filled application form for taking the online test at any of the national test centres in the month of April 2013: 19th March 2013
Last date for submission of duly filled application form for taking the online test at TMI, Induri in June 2013: 31st May 2013
The online test and interview will be conducted in the first to second week of April 2013
Programme Commencement: August 2013
TMISAT 2013 Result: Results are visble immediately on completion of the online test.
The result will be published in the official website of the institute. The selected candidates will be called for an interview. The candidates who pass the interview will be asked to do a medical test.
TMISAT 2013 Counselling Process:Shorlisted applicants are interviewed by a panel of educators and maritime professionals to assess the applicants' communication skills, leadership potential, clarity of thought, maturity and reasoning abilities. The panel also looks for any extracurricular achievements of the candidate.Medical practitioners appointed by the Institute will examine all selected candidates for certifying conformation with the medical requirements laid down by the Institute.

TMI, a maritime college was established in 1998 in Induri, Pune and offers courses which are approved by the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS). The Marine Engineering and Nautical Science degree programmes offered by Tolani Maritime Institute are also approved by Maritime Port Authority of Singapore.
Candidates can also apply for the early process of examination till April 25, wherein candidates will be required to appear for the online TMISAT 2020 exam followed by the interview by the mid-May. Applications received after April 25 till May 31 will be shortlisted on the basis of PCM marks and IMU-CET 2020 ranks and will be called for the online test in June.
Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of TMISAT 2020 will be eligible to apply for the entrance exam for admissions to B.Tech Marine Engineering degree programme at Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI). Following are the criteria that are required to be met by the Candidates to be eligible to get admission into the institute.
In order to be eligible for the admission in the institute, the male candidates are required to be born on or after 1st September, 1999. There is a 2 years age relaxation for the female candidates who should be born on or after 1st September, 1997. The minimum age limit to get admission in the institute is 17 years.
The Institute doesn't differentiate amongst candidates on the basis of gender. Both genders are equally eligible.
Only unmarried candidates will be offered the admission in the institute.
The candidates should have successfully completed their Class 12th (10+2) or equivalent with atleast 60% marks in PCM and atleast 50% marks in either Class 10th or Class 12th. Candidates whose Class 12th results are awaited are also eligible to apply.
Candidates are required to meet the minimum physical fitness and medical standards if they wish to get through the admission procedure. Candidates are advised by the authority to go through the medical fitness test before applying for the admission test certain parameters such as Eyesight, Genitourinary System, Skin, Nervous System, Digestive System, Respiratory System, Cardiovascular System, Lymphatic System, Digestive System, ENT, Skeletal System, Constitution of body, and others.

let me clear your doubt. the minimum age limit for tmisat exam is 17 years and in orderto be eligible for the admission in the institute, the male candidates are required to be born on or after 1st September, 1998. There is a 2 years age relaxation for the female candidates who should be born on or after 1st September, 1996.
