About MT CET 2013: MT CET is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Maharashtra Government. The entrance exam is to provide admissions to the eligible candidates to various engineering courses offered by the colleges in Maharashtra.
Till date the MH-CET (Maharashtra Health Common Entrance Test) was the entrance exam for admissions to the engineering, pharmacy, medical and dental degree programmes. From the year 2013, students of the state are required to attempt the Medical Council of India's National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) scheme for admissions to medical and dental degree courses and the DTE will be conducting the exam for admissions to engineering and pharmacy programmes.

The candidate who wishes to appear for MT CET must have pass 10+2 from any recognized Board in India. The candidate must possess a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The minimum marks requirement for the SC/ST/OBC candidates is 45%. All the candidates applying for the exam must have a positive AIEEE score.
MHT CET 2013 Selection Procedure:
The selection procedure for the admission is based on the score obtained by the candidate in MT CET 2013.
MT CET 2013 Paper Pattern:
The entrance exam will have three papers. The candidate must appear for all the three papers.
First paper: Physics and Chemistry (100 marks each)
Second paper: Botany and Zoology (100 marks each)
Third paper: Maths (100 marks)
All the questions will be objective and there will be no negative marking.
The candidate has to purchase the application form along with the brochure by paying the fee in cash to the college/school where he/she is studying.
The school/college submits the collected application fees in a single DD and pays it at the notified centre. After the payment is made, the school is given the application forms and brochures to be given to the students.
The students have to use the application no from the application kit to log in and apply.
The students have to print two copies of the submitted online application form, sign it along with their parent and submit it to the school/college.
A copy signed by the Principal of the school/college alongwith the seal of the institution will be returend to the student as the proof of receipt.
For students from outside Maharashtra who wish to attempt the MT-CET 2013:
Applications can be purchased from any of the notified centres by submitting a Demand Draft for Rs. 700 (Rs. 500 for Maharashtra Backward Class Category candidates) in the name of "Director, Technical Education, Mumbai" payable at "Mumbai".
The application process is the same as for students studying in Maharashtra.
The candidates have to take two copies of the online application form duly filled in and submitted online.
They are required to sign the printouts along with their parent and submit it to the nearest notified college.

Application fee can be paid via: Cash in case of students studying in Maharashtra and DD in case of students from outside Maharashtra.

Questions related to MHT CET
How many score pick to passed MHT-CET
The cut-off marks keeps changing depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of students appearing for it. Now, getting only the cut-off marks in MHT-CET won't help you to get good colleges. If you score atleast 90 or above out of 200 marks, you can expect some average colleges.
If you aim to get admission into good colleges, try getting atleast 120 or above.

Maharashtra comment entrance test consist of questions from class 11th and 12th syllabus. I'll recommend you to go through the syllabus properly and clear your concepts.
