Exam Name: Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test Commonly called as: BITSAT 2013 Exam type: University Level Exam category: UG Exam Conducting Institute: BITS Pilani University About BITSAT 2013: BITSAT is the exam conducted by the BITS PilaniUniversity to provide admission to the eligible candidates to the BITS Pilani, BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad campuses for various courses in engineering. BITSAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria: The candidates applying for Integrated First Degree Programme in BE and B.Pharm courses in BITS must have completed their 10+2 from a recognized Board in the country. The candidates appearing for 12th standard examination in 2013 are also eligible to apply for the test. The minimum mark requirement to apply for the exam is an aggregate of 67% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Apart from that, the candidate must also obtain a minimum of 60% marks in all the three subjects separately. The students must also have proficiency in English. The students who have passed 12th standard exam in or before 2010 are not eligible to apply. BITSAT 2013 Selection Procedure: The selection of the candidates for Integrated First Degree Programme in BE and B.Pharm is based on their performance in the BITSAT 2013. The university will also consider the marks obtained by the students in their Board exams. BITSAT 2013 Paper Pattern: The university conducts “computer based online test’. The test is for three hours and is divided into four sections. The first section is Physics with 40 questions, second section is Chemistry with 40 questions, third section is English Proficiency with 15 questions and Logical Reasoning with 10 questions and fourth section is Maths with 45 questions. The total number of questions is 150. The test will have multiple choice objective type questions. The correct answers will get three marks each and the candidate will lose one mark each for every wrong answer. No marks would be given to unattended answers. The computer will not allow the candidate to choose more than one answer for a question. BITSAT 2013 Application process:

The candidates can apply online by filing up the form obtained from www.bitsadmission.com. The filled application along with the DD of the application fee must reach the university office before the last date.

If you have passed your class 12th in year 2019, then you are eligible to give BITSAT 2020. You must have obtained an aggregate of 75% in physics , chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology and 60% must be there in each subject separately.

BITSAT 2020 eligibility criteria are as follows:-
1. No age restriction.
2. Must have passed 12th or any other equivalent exam.
3. Must have passed 12th in 2019 or appearing in 2020, not in 2018 or earlier.
4. Must have an aggregate of 60% and 50% average of in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

Sunil, : The official brochure says: "If you are repeating 12th exam, you should do it for the all the subjects to pass 12th again as mentioned in the BITSAT brochure. If you take improvement exams in PCM/PCB only, you are not eligible. "
Going by this, you should appear for improvement exams in all your 12th subjects and pass the 12th exam and secure the minimum required aggregate. You cannot appear for improvement exams only in specific subjects.
