sarthak goel 27th Dec, 2019

Hello Kalyan,

LPU can be considered as Tier 2 or TIER 3 college where IITs and BITS are categorised as TIER 1 colleges. It is quite famous and the average placement for engineering courses is around 3 Lakh, for more placement statistics and median packages visit the below mentioned link:

Apart from this the infrastructure is quite good. The students are quite satisfied, many fortune 500 companies such as TCS, WIPRO, Cognizant, Accenture, Bajaj,  Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Hindustan Uni-Lever, Capgemini, etc, visit the campus to recruit students.

For more information regarding placements please refer the below mentioned article:

what is the difference between base width modulation and punch through effect? in BEEE.

Arin Mishra 27th Dec, 2019

Hello,

In Punch Through An emitter-to-collector breakdown which can occur in a junction transistor with very narrow base region at sufficiently high collector voltage when the space-charge layer extends completely across the base region.

And in Base width Modulation As the voltages applied to the base-emitter and base-collector junctions are changed, the depletion layer widths and the quasi-neutral regions vary as well. This causes the collector current to vary with the collector-emitter voltage.

Hope this Helps,

Regards,

Arin.

I am placed in the wait list in BITS HD results with 60 as my score in ECE. Are there any chances to get into bits?

Manish Singh 16th Jun, 2019

Dear rekha

Your Marks in BITS HD result that is 60 is very low and there is a very less possibility for you to get admission into bits from the waiting list as well.

The other way to get into bits is through management quota seats that are  available.  You should contact the bits administrations  to inquire about it. I hope it helped

How much should I score in bits hd to get seat in ME computer science or software systems? What was the cutoff for last year?

Preety 23rd Jun, 2019

Hello Blen,

Official cutoffs for BITS HD seat allotment are not released. In the previous years, the cutoffs have been around 150 and 120 for computer science and software systems respectively(for Pilani campus). So, a score of around 160 can fetch you a seat in these branches.

Hope it helps!

Hello, I have BITS HD score of 94. Can I get admission in microelectronics, communication and embedded from any one of the BITS campuses?

Harsh Student Expert 27th May, 2019

Hello dear

If you are talking about BITSAT entrance exam than it is not possible to get admission in any of the campus with this score .

As bits is one of the top colleges of India ;you need to secure 290-300+ score ( vary according to campus and branch ) to get admission.

You need a lots of improvement and hard work.

Good luck.
