About AP PGECET 2013: Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) is a AP State Level Common Entrance Test for admission into Regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Pharmacy and Planning (ME / M.Tech./M.Pharmacy / M.Arch / M. Tech. / M. Plg./Graduate level Pharm-D (Post Baccalaureate) courses conducted by University College of Engineering, Osmania University on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), a statutory Body of the Government of A.P., Hyderabad.
AP PGECET 2013 Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
The Candidate should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The Candidate should satisfy the local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the regulations of admission.
50% marks (45% in case candidate belonging to reserved category) in B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in the respective disciplines
The vacant seats after admitting GATE/GPAT qualified candidates will be filled with the candidates based on the Rank/percentile score secured in the PGECET Entrance Test.
Separate notification will be issued for admission for GATE/GPAT Qualified candidates. They have a direct admission after registration.
AP PGECET 2013 Exam Pattern:
Test is of two hour duration with 120 multiple choice objective type questions, carrying one mark for each question. The cut off mark in the Common Entrance Test is 25% .

AP PGECET 2013 Application Form Process:
After payment of examination fees, log on using the payment transaction ID, enter all details and submit.
On successful submission: an SMS is received on the registered mobile no with the Registration number and transaction ID. Further, the “Filled in Online Application form” can be accessed through the link provided in the PGECET home page
Note: It is advisable to take a print out of the filled in application form for future reference.
AP PGECET 2013 Application Form Fees: Rs 500 ( Rs 250 for SC / ST).
In case a student wants to appear for more than one test, separate registration fee has to be paid for each test

AP PGECET 2013 Counseling Process: in the month of August.
Candidates have to check their results and ranks and check the university website for the counselling schedule.
They are required to attend the counselling sessions as per the schedule.
Once the documentation verification is over and seats allotted, the shortlisted candidates are required to pay the fees via a DD.
