About JKCET 2024
JKCET 2024 - JKBOPEE has announced the JKCET 2024 registration date on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in. The authority has released the JKCET application form 2024 on May 5. Candidates who wish to get admission to the B.Tech courses offered in the Engineering colleges in Jammu and Kashmir have to complete the JKCET registration 2024 at, jkbopee.gov.in. The authority will soon announce the JKCET engineering exam date 2024 at, JKBOPEE official website. Candidates who have qualified 10+2th from a recognized statutory Board/University with a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST, and other Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) can apply for JKCET 2024.
Applicants appearing for the exam are advised to go through the JKCET 2024 exam pattern and syllabus for their preparations. Candidates can also refer to the JKCET sample paper to ace the exam with a good score. The authority will issue the JKCET admit card 2024 to the candidates who fill out the application form before the last date.

After the conclusion of the exam, the exam conducting authority will release the JKCET 2024 answer key on the official website. With the help of the answer key of JKCET 2024, candidates can calculate their estimated score before the decoration of the result. The exam authority will also allow the candidates to raise objections against the provisional answer key for a specified time. After reviewing all the objections, the exam authority will release the final answer key along with the declaration of the JKCET result 2024. Candidates who declared qualified in the result will be called for the JKCET 2024 counselling process later.

JKCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The authority has released the JKCET 2024 eligibility criteria along with the official notification. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the JKCET application for 2024. The eligibility criteria of JKCET 2024 comprise age limit, educational qualification, marks required and others. In case any candidate fails to prove the eligibility criteria at the time of admission, his/her candidature will be cancelled. The eligible candidates will be able to apply for the JKCET exam. For more information, candidates can refer to the details given below.
JKCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit – Candidates should be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024. There is no upper age bar.
Domicile - The candidates should be permanent residents of J&K state.
Education Qualification – Should have qualified 10+2th (or equivalent) examination from a recognized statutory Board/University. Those candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying examination in 2024 will also be allowed to participate. English. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should have been studied and qualified by the candidates.
Minimum Marks Required – At least 50% marks should have been secured in the qualifying exam by the candidates belonging to Open Merit including the Children of Defence Personnel, Children of Paramilitary Forces, Children of State Police Personnel, and candidates possessing outstanding proficiency in Sports in the qualifying exam. For SC/ST and other Socially and Educationally Backward Classes candidates, the mark required is 40%.

JKBOPEE has commenced the JKCET 2024 application form online at the official website. Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility conditions can apply for JKCET 2024. The application process comprises registration, filling application form, uploading documents and payment of the JKCET application fee. The documents required to be uploaded in the application form are photographs, signatures, left thumb impressions and other documents. Candidates must complete the JKCET registration 2024 before the last date. Steps to fill out the JKCET application form 2024 are given below.

Candidates can refer to the steps to fill out the application form for JKCET 2024.
Registration: The first step is to complete the JKCET 2024 registration using personal details like name, gender, date of birth and others. After successful JKCET registration, the application number and other details will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID.
Filling application form: After successful registration, applicants have to fill in details in the application form of JKCET. Applicants have to fill in their communication details, educational qualifications and other details. Applicants must fill all the details in the application form carefully as authorities will not provide any correction facility later.
Payment of fee: The next step is to pay the JKCET 2024 application fee in online mode. The JKCET application fee is Rs 1200 for all the candidates. The application fee can be paid through net banking/credit card/debit card.
Uploading documents: After successful payment of the fee, applicants have to upload the required documents as per the specified format.

The exam authority will release the JKCET provisional answer key after the conclusion of the exam. Applicants appearing for the exam will be able to check the JKCET answer key 2024 at the official website. Mode of Counselling: Online
Candidates having their names on the merit list will be eligible to participate in the JKCET 2024 counselling. Candidates need to physically report to the JKBOPEE office to participate in the counselling and seat allotment rounds. The JKCET counselling will be conducted rank-wise. As per previous years cutoff you have fair chances of getting Cs in Gcet Jammu.
Last year the cutoff for Cs was around 700 in the first round.
But don’t worry as there is more than one round in counselling session and hence you can get Cs in 2nd or 3rd round.
